Hampton Inn Bowie

Drove to Maryland from West Virginia to take my kids to six flags. Stayed at this hotel after our 4 hour drive. It looked very nice and the property and facilities were very clean. We swam in the pool and the water was perfect temperature and felt great after a long drive. The front desk was very courteous. Our room was nice and clean and cool when we arrived and Our beds were very comfortable. What was also very neat was if you downloaded the Hilton app you can do conctless check in and out and you get a digital key! ( It's been a long time since I've traveled, so I don't know how long this has been a thing lol) before we left we had breakfast, which was included with our stay and it was very good with a lot of options. We felt nice and energized for our trip to six flags. I definitely recommend staying here!

The toilet didn't work, we had to dump water with a bucket. There were 5 of us including kids.Since maintenance guy wouldn't arrive until next day at 9am, we spent an uncomfortable night. Breakfast was very good. Clean and safe area.

The fact that the omelet making was not out in full view. When I noticed it. The machine was being packed up at 9:45 am. I think only one omelet was made. Was it only for certain visitors? ( Like friends and family members of employees?

Staff was not knowledgeable and there were guests cursing loudly with kids all around, and no staff members asked those guests to please refrain from offensive language, in fact, they laughed.

Very clean and accommodating for my family and I.

My stay was just what I needed. I had been very busy this week and visiting family for a graduation was great. The travels this week took a lot out of me but I was able to get replenished here at the hotel. Accommodations were great, noise level was great and I slept very peacefully.

It was in proximity to family so convenient location
