Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott White Marsh

So my family and I went to this hotel for memorial day weekend and was not pleased. Upon arrival, the check in process was smooth, the young lady who helped us check in was amazing. After driving three hours, we wanted to spend some time in the pool before it closed and it got dark. When we got to the pool, we noticed a layer of white film at the surface of the pool. Of course I did not allow my six month old or 10 year old in the pool. We went to concierge to ask about a cleaning & What's going on & was told the weekend was busy they haven't had time to clean & it's from the oil from peoples skin etc. Frustrated, so we left to find something to do & upon arrival no one was at the desk. We gave it half an hour, called to register the two vehicles & ask for more towels but no one answered. Not to mention, the bed literally felt like it was split in half & was very uncomfortable. Not the greatest family weekend away!

It was a very clean, safe, well-appointed and equipped property & we will stay there again when visiting our family.

Exceptionally clean . Room comfortable and price was great! Breakfast was very good- a nice surprise after some reviews. Front Desk cheerful and very helpful. Our new go-to when visiting family in the area.

The first room we were in had a broken pull out bed. The bed was crooked and mattress was filthy. The second room also had a dirty pull out mattress but at least it wasn’t broken. I don’t understand why they have mattress protectors on the bed but not on the pull out mattresses. The pool was seriously overcrowded with kids using squirt guns on everyone, toddlers throwing game pieces out of the pool area, parents obviously not supervising the kids, and an overwhelming smell of dirty diapers. The carpets in the room obviously hadn’t been cleaned or washed in a long time. And tub dripped constantly.

When I arrived the lot had maybe 10 cars The lady behind the desk told me the room wasn't ready and it wasn't check-in time but she would check every 30-minutes to see if it is clean which was fi e even though she could have been more pleasant so we could go to our room The kids and I sat down and a hour and 30mins later I asked again she told me again it wasn't clean without even checking so i asked if she would I have no idea if she did she picked up the phone and walked to the back 15 mins later a different lady gave me my room key and went to the back The first lady came and told me my room will be ready soon not knowing that her coworker just gave me a room key Obviously no communication between them when I got to the room there was a Marijuana joi t in the bathroom on the hairdryer, blood stains on the pillow and something clearly spilled in the fridge The Waffles were extremely hard eggs and sausages not very warm or good

Chemicals put in the pool at opening time - couldn't take a swim in the mini pool & found a family of 6 sitting frustrated poolside while they waited for the chemicals to work themselves in. Shared with the front desk - do chemicals night before or before opening time. Quiet, friendly staff, very clean surroundings, they were shocked by the timing of the pool maintenance.

Traveled to a family members graduation. Room was excellent as was the hotel in general. It was a bit noisy until about 11:00 pm but fine after. Staff was very friendly and efficient. The continental breakfast was great . . . just about anything you could want was provided. A free trolly was available to and from the local mall for shopping and restaurants. Overall the stay was pleasent and not too costly. Would stay there again and recommend to friends.
