Crowne Plaza Annapolis, an IHG Hotel

This property was very nice, recently renovated and had no odors. The bartender and maintenance gentleman "Alex" were great, as well as the lady thay checked us in. The room was clean and up to date. You coyld feel the springs in the bed and the pillows had much to be desired. There is coffee available in the lobby but it costs an $3.00 a cup, for keurig coffee. The regular size candy bars were also $3 00. Seems a bit peicey. DO NOT order the breakfast buffet!!!! We went at 920, the buffet ends at 10. There was no bacon or hashbrowns, the eggs had been there for quite a while, the pancakes were so hard you could have used them as frisbies, and there were some sausage links that were just okay. The staff did refill the fresh fruit but by then we were quite upset and didnt want any. You cannot get your own coffee, you have to wait for the staff to bring it. The few other families that were there were also upset with the meger selections. I mentioned this to the front desk when checking out, as the breakfast was $15 a person, and the guy simply nodded his head with a smerk and said "we were busy". No I'm sorry or anything. The hotel was convenient and the air worked so I suppose it wasnt horrible although I dont know if I would spend that kinda of money again to stay there.

Comfotable stay, nice indoor pool, perfect for families

We needed a room for our family somewhat last minute, and the Crown Plaza had the space we needed. Front desk staff was polite, foyer was tidy. Our junior suite had a terrible musty odor, it smelled of mold. We settled in anyway as we had no other options. The room was in poor condition. Things were broken (toilet paper dispenser not attached to wall) and the room was quite dirty. Stains on the walls, the bedroom door handle had some sort of food caked all over it, and the carpets were terrible. They had food on them around the sofa from previous guests and there were sticky spots that your socks would stick to. I would not let my children play on them. They also seemed to be running wires right under the carpet that you could feel when you walked around. The pool area was disgusting- the photos are definitely deceiving. There was balls of hair as well as other unidentifiable materials all over the pool deck. False eyelashes strewn about? The bottom of the hot tub had all sorts of gross debris on it. One of the worst parts of this hotel was how poorly it was run. We requested linens to make up the sofa bed for our young children. It took two calls and a visit to the front desk to receive them- almost an hour later. The following evening when we requested toilet paper, it took almost an hour and multiple calls to receive it- from the girl who was working at the front desk (she said she couldn’t find anyone else to bring it up). It was close to family living in area, nice clean hotel in a safe area. It was my second stay with them and I will stay there again if i am back in the area.

Quick stay over on a family road trip; was an EXCELLENT experience. Friendly staff at check in; clean, quiet, comfortable room. Gave us much needed rest without any hassles. Located in the middle of shopping and amenities. Would definitely stay again!

My pillows and comforter smelled like a mans cologne. As if the pillow cases and comforter was not new. There were 2 false eyelashes on the floor. Also I wish the pool was heated a little in the winter time, it was hard for me and my child to enjoy it.

We were in Annapolis MD to visit family. Stayed 7 nights. Nice hotel. We had to request daily cleaning but service was good. Had an adjoining room and we heard a lot of noise from that room through the door. But overall good experience.

Nice place. Stayed for a family reunion. The weekend breakfast buffet was nice. Monday we had to order from the menu and the service experience was "post covid slow." Would absolutely stay again.
