Very unique hotel! Our family loved the nautical/graduate theme and lobby area. Location was perfect, walkable to the restaurants, Naval Academy, and waterfront areas we wanted to explore. As other reviews have mentioned, the rooms are not very well soundproofed, plus, the cleaning staff were up very very early (~6:30am on a Sunday morning) making alot of noise prepping for their cleaning shifts, and opening and closing doors. I'm all for that, but perhaps a bit later on the weekends - say 8am before all the serious cleaning and racket starts would have been appreciated.

Great stopover for our trip to visit family over the holidays. Excellent location that is walkable to City Dock in Annapolis. The hotel itself is beautifully decorated in a style that fits the name and theme of the property. We had a great stay!

Loved the treasure chest goody bag for kids at check in! Kept my son entertained for the weekend. Thank you for accommodating our requests, our room was wonderful and our son loved the colored walls and crab wallpaper. Great service at the front desk. Thank you!

This hotel was a very pleasant surprise for the price. The location was walking distance from downtown. The free town bus also stops across the street. The rooms were quiet and staff superb. My family and I actually ended up extending our stay one night to enjoy the town a bit more. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We stayed in the family suite. Everything looked recently renovated. It was very spacious and clean. It was our favorite place to stay in Annapolis. We will definitely stay there again.

Lucy at the front desk was fabulous! Also, Tim in valet, was really nice and helpful. I love the whimsical, nautical theme throughout the hotel including room keys that look like ID cards of famous maritime -related people. My boyfriend and I had Jimmy Carter's naval ID card and that of Francis Scott key. Cute! One thing I didn't like was the terrible service at the coffee shop. The girl that worked there acted like an undertaker at the morgue in the kid who worked the register was hardly going an extra inch let alone mile. On the other hand he did tell my boyfriend to have a good day, when he got his sandwich (which he liked) So that was... Unexpected. The menu selections were generally good.
