The room was large and clean, the bed was big and comfortable. Employees friendly and helpful. I *KNOW* I'm staing *AT* an airport, so there's a certain amount of noise possible, but I arrived at midnight after a delayed flight and there were people blaring TVs or having full voice arguments in rooms all around me. In the morning that was replaced by screaming kids. I have to guess the walls are very thin or there's not nearly enough sound insulation. Still, I'll probably end up going back, because I fly into Bangor once a year and either have to arrive very late or leave very early, so it's handy.

The stay was fine. The room had a strange odor to it, but nothing that warranted complaining. It could just be that I'm not from the area and a "new" smell was foreign to me. My trip was a quick 12 hour lay over, basically a place to crash before heading out to family in the Bingham area. The food was excellent! I'm not new to Maine, just the area, I've vacationed plenty in the state. The food was exactly as I expected it to be. Dinner and breakfast.

Great value offering for the area. The hotel interior is dated and the elevators are quite old but the staff was good, the restaurant on the property was decent, and the cost almost felt like a steal after the outrageous prices we've paid for worse while vacationing in Miami. Just skip the rooms with double beds and you'll be fine. Being an older hotel, the walls are thin and double beds means kids.

We stayed one night with kids to attend a hockey game in Orono. The pool was small but clean. The temp varied each day. The breakfast at Tailwinds was amazing. They had a kids menu too. The staff were very friendly and responsive. The parking was awkwardly behind building so it was a long walk in cold winds with kids. Only one elevator worked. They didn’t have separate service elevator. My 4 year old son wanted to stay another night because he liked it so much.

The water was too hott we couldn’t shower . The parking was annoying, I paid 3 times. They didn’t explain that . Very pricy to park. I called making sure the pool was working and that day it wasn’t. I picked that hotel for the pool for my kids and of course they closed it that day. And there was no good explanation why. I won’t ever go back .

Probably the best choice for a family staying in Bangor for a night or two.

This was very convenient before our early-morning flight and felt much nicer than other airport-attached hotels I've stayed in. Very comfortable and clean. My toddler loved that we could watch the planes take off and land from our window!

We booked the hotel for 1 night, for 2 adults and 1 child. When we got there, no bed or couch was in the room for the child. The bed for the adults was made, but the sheets looked like they have been used. I requested clean sheets and a bed for my child. I was notified, that i had to pay $25 extra dollars for the roll bed, even though, i already paid for my stay through expedia. We left the room for a while and when we came back, the extra bed was in the room, but it was not set up. So i had to do that myself. At check out there was a charge on our bill, from another guest, who apparently added their breakfast bill to our room. The lady at the service desk was very friendly and was able to take that off. The elevator is old and takes forever. I overheard another guest saying, that the second elevator, which apparently was out of service, was aldeady out of service last year, when he had stayed there. It was not the best experience and overall, i don't think, we'll return.
