We had an amazing time at this cute old-fashioned hotel as a family
- This place has the old-fashioned charm, but is comfortable and well equipped with everything you need. It may not be the most up to date modern trendy hotel, but it's perfect for a small Christmasy town like Freeport.
- Service is great and friendly across the facility. Pool is very nice and comfortable. Gym is a bit small, but I wasn't there for that. Basic breakfast is free, but you can pay to have more options.
- If I have to give one feedback, it would be to update the bathroom with a bigger vanity with more counter space, stronger water pressure for toilet. Also, the AC is a bit hard to pin point the temperature.
None of these was really a big deal for us. We LOVED our stay as a family of 4 (70yro grandparents, 27yro mom/me, 18m old) and would come back. We would recommend this place especially for older visitors who would like to experience the good old days American coastal life!
Freeport is lovely, great dinning, shopping, and little boutique, all very walkable. Totally a hidden gem being overshadowed by Portland.

Can't believe the dining room is under construction in the middle of their high season. Zero mention of this when we booked. My family and I have been visiting Freeport for over a decade but this time the entire town felt shop worn and sad and surprisingly deserted. Think that was our last visit there.

Property is going through renovations since new owners took over from the Grey family. Room was very comfortable as it has been in previous visits. Broad Arrow menu has changed but a fire took out their grille a week ago so hopefully menu will be better in the future. Staff as always been very helpful!

We loved our stay and the ease of checkin and checkout at odd hours. It was one of our first major trips with our baby and the pack and play was ready in our room with clean sheets and a soft blanket and everyone was so sweet! My husband and his family used to go to Broad Arrow Tavern often growing up but he had never stayed at the Inn so this was a special and memorable time. Thanks so much!

Not the same. Breakfast buffet is always on point. We have been coming here for years and Celeste has been the best. No only does she remember us, she makes sure we enjoy our meal every time and is so welcoming. The front desk staff A . The downside is that the property is not maintained like it used to be. A quick google search and we see it was sold off. My room was dingy, bathroom showing it’s age, very soft bed with four old pillows that have seen better days. You also have now request cleaning of your room. Broad Arrow was good, they did burn my dessert BUT Sheen was pleasant, not his fault.
All in all, not satisfied with the stay. Staff was pleasant. This is my last stay at the Harraseeket, ending a family tradition from the 90s. I will come back for the breakfast with Celeste though.

My family met here for the start of our family reunion. Penny and her staff made every moment special for us…our check in (to 4 rooms), the Afternoon Tea to the Delicious Breakfast in the private room set aside for us. We enjoyed every moment! We hope to return soon!

The hotel is incredible, the room is comfortable and has a good design, the only thing that doesn't match its stars, the continental breakfast is poor, they take a while to sit you down, everything is out of order and if something runs out they don't refill it, I think at that point they could improve it
Its location is very good, close to restaurants and shops
It has a very nice indoor pool that my children enjoyed very much.
