Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites AMITE, an IHG Hotel

It was very nice. Room was great the front desk was second to none. Breakfast was good with the baby pancakes. Very nice hotel and great little town

The bathroom was not user friendly designed. The toilet was toddler sized. It was very difficult to use. Likewise the sink was very high. There is no way a child could wash their hands by themselves. The 2 side chairs in the room were both dirty and not very sturdy. The person who manned the breakfast area was very nice . I was greeted with a smile both days.

We ALWAYS stay at IHG Hotels anytime we travel. We had reserved a 2 queen bed suite with a pull out sofa (room 213) for our stay (3/22-3/24). We arrived pretty late on the night of the 3/22. The desk agent was polite during check in and we went up to our room to get some rest. That night we only used the beds and didn’t have a need for the pull out sofa. We left early the morning of 3/23 and were gone most of the day. When we returned to our room with a family friend we decided to use the pull out sofa that night. When I pulled it out to put the sheets on it I noticed a very large brown stain on the mattress that appeared to be blood and an acrylic finger nail. I took pictures and immediately went downstairs to the front desk to let them know and requested a different mattress for the pull out sofa. The front desk called maintenance to remove the mattress and bring us a new one. There was a man that came to our room within 10 minutes and replaced the mattress. I went ahead and made the bed and then our room phone rang from the front desk. The manager (last name Patel) was on the phone with the front desk agent asking us what we did to the mattress and stated that it was a fresh stain. I walked down to the front desk and explained that the stain was there when I pulled the mattress out. He argued with me stating that we did that to the mattress and was very ugly about it. I had to call corporate and file a formal complaint. We will NOT be staying here again! Beware!!

We came to see family that we had not seen in years, The stay at the Hotel was convenient, Very clean, Breakfasts was great Staff taking care of it was Great, Highly suggest anyone going on a trip for business or pleasure STAY here.

Very clean and friendly staff. Pool is not open (though no website indicated that it would be closed) which was disappointing for our kids and left us scrounging with how to fill the morning while we waited for an evening event.
