La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Walker - Denham Springs

check in was very simple and the woman at the front desk was very professional and made check in so easy for me and my family after a long day on the road.

Took way to long to check us in at 11 in the evening with no one in line but me and my family, waiting to sleep.

The property was right off the exit. It was convenient, near other amenities like gas and food. It smelled fresh upon entry and seemed to be clean. The sheets seemed to be clean but they had spots on them which were questionable. So they should invest in new sheets. The breakfast was ok nothing excitable. Also it seemed that once it was bed time, there was a lot of noise happening. Either doors slamming, someone working on something, children running Idk. But very irritating and on first floor near checkin so im sure they heard it too but nothing was done about because it went on too long.

My check in process was great, we were delayed by weather while traveling and required a 1:30am check in. They were very accommodating in this. They are pet friendly and even provide waste bags and disposal can at the walking area by pool. Our dog and us were very comfortable during our stay. The staff are very friendly. Only disappointment was the gym was not open for our stay. Having a gym was part of the deciding factor for choosing our stay here. The rooms are well insulated and little noise from neighboring rooms, except for the ceiling where I suspect a young child was staying above us during our last night. The rooms were clean, and our do not disturb was respected. Highly recommend, just advise calling ahead to make sure amenities are functioning.

The room was nice and spacious. Comfortable bed, clean bathroom. Very accommodating for our family and two dogs. Plenty of shopping and food in close proximity.

The water in the shower would not get hot !!! They put someone with children by me and I had to listen the crying and screaming all night

We arrived at 9pm and had a smooth check in. Got a call from the front desk at 9:15pm rudely telling me that my children were walking around too loudly and the people below were trying to sleep. I had to keep my 3&5 year old confined to the bed to avoid disturbing our “neighbors”. If it had been after 10 and my kids were being excessively loud I would understand, but settling in directly after arriving… not cool. The beds left a lot to be desired but they were clean, as was the room. The breakfast was decent- waffle maker, basic cereal, scrambled eggs & sausage. The morning staff were very kind, allowing us to switch an action movie for a kids show at breakfast. They made the rest of our experience very pleasant and were kind to our children. We left without any further incident.

Just avoid this entire little area. Find anorher town to stay in especially if you have family along for rhe ride.

We stayed here before with our fur babies. The staff is MORE than accommodating. GREAT food for breakfast. Beds are well, LaQuinta quality! We LOVE this place. Feels like it is off the beaten path, yet it is just off the highway convenient.

The room was clean and the workers were friendly.. the pool was clean and the breakfast was beautiful.. it’s affordable and perfect for a small family trip, are just a little couples getaway..
