Holiday Inn Express Covington-Madisonville, an IHG Hotel

I was embarrassed cuz they were trying to charge me more than what I was told my total was. When I asked if I can pay cash cuz I only put the amount I was told on my card, I was told no. They finally charged me what I was told I was going to be charged. I felt that I was being charged more cuz I was a single mom on my own with my child.

The room was clean and very well accommodated for my family of 5. We’ve stayed in many hotels and this is the first one that actually had room service come during the day and restock our towels and change our garbage. This will be our go to hotel when we come to Covington from now on.

I actually enjoyed my stay, only thing that bothered me were the kids above my head! They ran back and forth the entire time. Overall great place, and the breakfast was very good!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. This is the second time we stayed at this hotel and recommend it to all of our friends and family. It was wonderful and spacious.

Nice amount of space in the room. Bed was not that comfortable. The room finally got to an acceptable temperature half way the the stay. The lighted mirror in the restroom is flashing/going out, which was annoying. Mold growing in the corners of the bath tub. The restroom door hinges scream every time it’s moved, which wakes everyone up when one person goes to the restroom. The noise from the other rooms meant that I was able to get about 3 hours of meaningful sleep before hitting the road again. Breakfast was late being served so we decided to come back midway through. When we got back, the majority of the food was gone, so ended up taking the family to an restaurant.

There was a Termite infestation in the room and my young family members were terrified and wanted to leave and go home. Would not stay here again.
