Comfort Inn & Suites Scott-West Lafayette

Very nice and spacious rooms. Hotel was quiet and relaxing. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Making this our new place to stay when we’re in Louisiana visiting family.

Nice place to stay with family

In a quiet area very nice for a family place

When we first arrived, everything seemed very jice. Staff was friendly, hotel seemed clean and comfy. Mostly quiet, as you cannot expect total silence in a hotel. But the rooms were supposed to be non-smoking, and we both choked quite literally all afternoon and night because of the stout and constant smoking of marjiuana. It was an unmistakable odor that was accompanied by people standing in the hallway and being loud for quite some time. As i was with my elderly mother, i couldnt leave her to go complain or ask anyone about it, but it ended up making the stay unpleasant, as neither of us could sleep due to literally having our eyes burning and choking on the stench. It's pungent and someone should maybe be checking for such things, as guests with eldery or with small children may not appreciate or be able to handle it (not to mention, isn't it a violation of the rules set forth?). The only other thing eas the fridge was on and set to the coldesr setting, but was warm. Otherwise, it was ok for the one night in which ee needed it, as we were there to watch my niece graduate.

The hotel was in a nice area and I would definatly stay again. My two complaints are being woken up at 12 a.m. by a toddler who was just crying in the hallway for a good 20mins. And my second complaint is their breakfast...biscuits and gravy and waffles tasted horrible! Other then that it was a nice stay.
