Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Covington, LA

We had a double queen suite room. It was very nice! Lots of room. Seperate bedroom allowed us to read while the kids watched TV in the next room. I likes that the suite had the sofa bed plus another sitting chair as well as another one in the bedroom. Aldi is located across the street which we walked to for snacks and water for our trip. Lots of familiar shopping and restaurants nearby. We were headed to New Orleans for a cruise and chose to stay here. Our Monday morning drive to cruise port was about 45 minutes with very little hold up. Staff was very friendly and welcoming and anything we needed or asked about they got right on it. True hospitality here! Can't say enough about that. The highway uses U-turns so be aware you can not turn left once at the main highway. Breakfast was good and hot! Eggs, Sausage, gravy, and biscuits. Self serve waffle maker. Would stay here again.

I booked with EXPEDIA- big mistake! I was charged double what my other family members staying there were charged because I didn’t go straight through the hotel to book. Tried to get the rate changed and EXPEDIA refused to help me. The hotel was fine except the fire alarm went off every morning due to the shower steam.

Clean & comfy rooms. Breakfast was the same every day, but that's okay as I like the waffle maker. I'm a tea drinker & they didn't have any regular black tea (had Earl Grey, which I don't like). Luckily I brought my own from home. Some previous reviews complained about the firm mattress, but I loved them! Slept like a baby!

If you want a no nonsense, sanitized hotel with all of the amenities available to you without a huge fee as well as access to the Causeway bridge to go to New Orleans for the day then this location is ideal. Great for the business traveler and families!

We have stayed here a few times trough the lapse of 2 months, they are very consistent with the quality of service and cleanliness My family and I will choose it again, absolutely recommend it!

There are 4 hotels in this proprty. That makes it feel safe and with plenty of parking. The contractors stay out of the way of the family vehicles. We really liked that. This hotel is nice and clean. The brekfast did have sausage and cheese sandwiches, better than just plain cereal. That was a plus. The hotel is clean, plenty of staff cleaning the rooms and doing laundry. We will stay here again next time we come thru.There are plenty of places to eat and get fuel in the area.

The suites were lovely. Perfect for our family to gather for a memorial graveside service in Metairie. The only disappointment was not being able to choose from our block of rooms which room we could take, even though we had personally paid for all of them. The staff was generous with our family using the faculty to visit on the premises.
