Margaritaville Resort Casino

Chose this “resort” based on its name and marketing of a laid back environment. Instead the pool was overran by screaming kids and cranking rap music. A patron was completely drugged out in the corner. I went elsewhere without luck within the resort. I went back to the pool to go into the hot tub late and the hot tub was maybe 80F. Pathetic all around

Hotel is nice, currently under renovations so had loud construction noise waking us up at 8am. Parking and surrounding areas sketchy. Had a homeless man walk up to my car with my children inside and tried to the open car door during the day (9am)!!! This is our 3rd time staying here. Would like more dining options but overall a nice place to stay in Shreveport. Just have to be cautious of surroundings!!

Rooms were clean air conditioner work good and slept like a baby

We have stayed multiple times at Margaritaville but being woke up at 6am with “tests” over the intercom and no power with THREE sleeping babies just really left a bad taste in our mouths. 30 minutes after we got our children calm and back asleep we was all rudely awaken again. It was hot and miserable for us.. why they chose 6am for that I will never know but after being woken twice with screaming kids all before 7 we got irritated and left immediately and drove 3 hrs home. Unfortunately as much as we love it here, we won’t be back because we had a less than desirable stay. The good parts are it’s always very clean and comfortable but if I wanted to be woken up with no power and screaming babies I would have stayed home.

Staff was extremely rude at check in. I was traveling with my family for a funeral and the staff yelled at me for not moving fast enough. The property stinks like cigarette smoke even in our non smoking rooms.

Spent Spring break with the kiddos and had a blast! I won 🙌 all my money back.

I didn't like the fact that there was no indication on the website that the pool was not open at this time. We booked 4 nights during spring break vacation, of course we planned to swim but unfortunately when we got there,checked in, I then realized I wasn't given any instruction for the pool. Well, to my surprise I go back to the front desk and ask, I was then told they are in " off season" and the pool was not open! I immediately cancelled the rest of my stay and had to find lodging elsewhere that could accommodate my family and our intentions for going. I was very unpleased about that. I doubt I ever return.

I booked 2 rooms under my name and my oldest son's name through Hotels.com. My oldest son, at the last minute, couldn't go. The front desk wouldn't let me check the 2nd room in. Insisted if my son wasn't there, we would have to forfeit the room and I would need to call Hotels.com to see if I could get a credit. I have reserved rooms for 80 employees for 8 years and this is, by far, not the first time I've encountered this same problem, and it has never, not one time, been an issue. On a scale of 1-10 the woman at the front desk rates a .5 for friendliness, courtesy, or helpfulness. There was no eye contact. She gave the impression she'd rather be doing anything other than checking my family in their rooms. BTW: This happened December 24, 2023 at approximately 7:00-8:00 p.m.

we checked in around 7:30 the lady was not very friendly and kind of annoyed when i asked where to park and where the elevators where. she also told me to sign and agreeing not to smoke and a fee for room and when i asked her to repeat what i was sighing for she was super rude. we left at 4 am b/c my child was having surgery ( reason for our stay ) at nearby hospital so no one was at desk so we only saw the one lady our whole stay and she was not friendly

We arrived and we’re told it was sold out and there were no rooms. Then she found us a room. We came upstairs and it was 1 King for 4 people on the reservation 2 adults 2 children. My children are sleeping on the floor. I called for 2 extra blankets since there were none in the linen closet. They have yet to be delivered in 30 minutes so far.
