Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Bossier City - Louisiana, an IHG Hotel

We usually stay here when visiting my wife's family. We've really never had issues until this stay. We booked several months in advance, asking specifically for a room on the top floor away from the elevators. They got the top floor correct, but the room was directly next to the elevators. My biggest issue was my AC stopped working. I called 2 separate employees before leaving for a wedding to report the issue. I was assured maintenance would be called. We returned several hours later to find that nothing was repaired. We weren't called or even left a note that the AC couldn't be repaired so,we could get prepared to move,into another room. I was not very nice when I called down about it, but was able to speak with a well-mannered and helpful manager. He brought the keys for the new room. Unfortunately, it was in the second,floor, and we had to listen to some unsupervised children run and jump off the walls for a,while before going to bed finally about 10:30. Will probably look for a new place,to stay next time. Me and Holiday Inn Express need some time apart.
