Hampton Inn Louisville - Northeast

Location very close to family I was in Louisville to visit. Will stay again.

My family (2 adults/2 teens) loved our stay here! The property was beautiful and clean, and the outdoor oasis was lovely - pool, duck pond, beautful seating (although beside the highway, but we still loved it!). The rooms were clean and spacious enough for our family of 4, and the beds were comfortable. There were lots of restaurants and stores within walking distance, and it was easy to find dinner. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. It was an easy drive from the hotel into downtown less than 10 minutes.

Overall, our stay was great, but we would not stay again. The young man who checked us in on Friday 7/22/22 had numerous issues with his computer and just wasn't very friendly. He asked if I had a floor preference and I said yes 1st floor or closest to it would be great. Then he smiled and gave me a room key for the 5th floor. I didn't know what to say. I wanted to leave right then but my family was tired and hungry and the room was already paid for the next 2 nights. The pool looks huge in the pictures but it's not that big. It was clean and very nice though. We used it both evenings. The outdoor TV is covered up and the firepit didn't work either and was filled with water. All of the office staff after the 1st night was very sweet and helped save our stay. The sweet gal on Sunday even helped us print our tickets to the park so we didn't have to take our phone in to the water park. Breakfast was great for hotel bkfst. There were either eggs or omelettes every morning with sausage patty and links, potatoes, french toast, waffles, and of course the regular cold items. The dining area is nice and we even had our take out dinner there 1 night. The hotel is very clean and the pond and swings are nice and relaxing. Overall, I still give it 4 out of 5 stars.
