Arrived late, but was still able to have a late dinner at the lobby restaurant. spent family time in the lobby until 12:35 AM. slept well. Next morning, checked out at around10:30. Everyone was very friendly and there were no issues. I do need to mention the ceiling paint in the back of the lobby that was cracked and gaping in several large areas. Really needs to be addressed.

My family of 3 stayed for a business and leisure trip for 4 nights. We found the hotel’s transportation shuttle to be convenient, the facility to be very clean and beautiful. It was also easy to walk to 4th street for dining options. The staff was helpful and friendly & each day the housekeeping staff made the room look nice again and restocked essentials. We would definitely stay again. I did find the double room’s beds to be very comfy but the beds were smaller than a regular queen bed it seemed like so there was a lack of bed space for a lot of movement. Otherwise it was a fantastic facility and I already miss being there!

My room was fine however the floor above me was extremely noisy later in the evening sounding like furniture was being moved. I did speak to a staff member. I also informed the staff that part of the curtain liners needed attention because they were not hooked up properly on the larger windows. Electrical cords were not properly secured, they pose no problem for me however if it was children staying in those rooms with parents they could have been an issue. I did take photos of them. It is a very historical and old hotel and hopefully attention will continue to certain areas that show “wear”. The restaurant service was excellent. The hotel interior design, furniture etc. beautiful. I would stay there again if I travel to Louisville.
