Galt House Hotel Trademark Collection by Wyndham

We came on a family trip from Wisconsin. Was a great time with lots of stuff within walking distance to get to from the hotel. Great pubs, restaurant and activities. Hotel was clean with multiple amenities.

Our stay was good until the parents in the nexr room allowed their kids to repeatedly kick a ball against the adjoining wall during sleeping hours.

Our family of five staying in the 2 queen suite, right on the river. Tons of space, 2 bathrooms (one with toilet only) was perfect. Attached is our balcony view.

Great for families and being able to walk around downtown!

Was made to buy a green wrist band for 50 dollars because my husband and I and 3 grandkids who all are under the age of 7 stayed at the hotel for Thunder Over Louisville. Was never made aware of that we could only bring just 2 of our grandkids. We will never stay at this hotel again. Will never recommend this hotel as well. I totally understand that having a wrist band shows that you have paid to stay in the hotel. But to make us purchase a wristband for one of our grandkids is totally ridiculous.

Been to the Galt several times. The remodel is fantastic. Hotel is close to everything and the executive rooms have adequate room for an entire family.

Neighbors were partying until 5 am. They had people coming and going unril—5 am. Doors slamming, people yelling, and music so loud you could feel the base in our room. I called the front desk, and they connected me with security. Security told me to take a sleeping pill and go to bed. The highway sounds like it's running through your room. Between that and the partying neighbors, our entire family of 5 didn't sleep at all after driving 11 hours. I would never stay here again. The staff is rude and doesn't care. Stay somewhere else. Not worth the money!

While it is an interesting hotel and the staff were very good, there were a few things we were not expecting. Not huge issues but something to be aware of when considering your stay: Hotel is huge and spans 2 towers separated by a road and connected by an indoor bridge. Getting places within the hotel takes some walking. The hotel is very focused on large and small events and conventions. This resulted in crowds and lines and some long waits for elevators on the busiest days. The hotel does not have room service. The hotel restaurants close early on certain days. The fare at the 3 hotel restaurants was the same or similar and the website menus differed from what was actually served (less choices). We stayed in an executive suite as we wanted the balcony with river view and the sitting area for visiting with family. While the room was pretty, it was noisy constantly (even on a high floor) due to the large highway that runs by the front of the hotel. We would not have spent the extra money for that room if we had known about the noise.

Pure chaos when we arrived due to a million kids and families in town for some competitions!? Could barely walk through the whole hotel! Valet person was nice and bellhop as well - front desk needs an English interpreter! Hotel room was best party - nice and very clean and beautiful river view so all was not lost.

We really enjoyed the hotel! However, the bed itself was comfortable, but they had only sheets in the bed and the top of the sheet was plastic, like a toddler bed. It made a sound like plactic. Awful!
