Courtyard by Marriott Lexington North

The pictures look way better than what you get in person. The ceiling was dirty, the literal ceiling, like there was smoke damage. The balcony was trashed and things just looked like it was falling apart. We went down to the bar to grab a drink and the “bartender” would hardly be there. Mostly that was because she was on her phone, that was on speaker the entire time she was working behind the bar, grabbing drinks for myself and two other guests. Then she just left while on her phone, walking around the hotel, waiting for their family to come so she could let them through the side to let them swim. Not to mention, she picks up a glass for wine and she says, eww, they never clean these glasses, then puts it down and grabs another and just wiped it clean.she was also on speaker phone while attending to guests and just setting down the phone while in mid conversation, so all of us could hear, yelling across the bar that you can’t here her. Also there was a putrid smell coming from the sitting area, like someone urinated in the front lobby and they just left it there. The front clerk while pleasant to us, wasn’t with a couple that came in after, giving her the wrong directions to her room then acting really rude to her when she asked again and let him know that she went to the wrong area because of his instructions the first time. I definitely wouldn’t go back and certainly paid too much for staying there to begin with. One step above a motel 6. Gross.

I liked what’s the staff they were very friendly and accommodating we checked into our hotel. The website stated they had a refrigerator the room we stayed in unfortunately did not have a refrigerator. They comped us breakfast for our four night stay what I didn’t like was they said whirlpool and there was no whirlpool But the pool was nice my granddaughter and I enjoyed it for a family wedding

The family had a short stay just to sleep and shower. Staff was friendly. PLUS There is a Starbucks inside the hotel.

It was a beautiful hotel. Only a few years old. But the restaurant was closed for dinner the night I was there. Also, for a newer hotel, it was noisy with little kids running up and down the hall.
