La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Cincinnati Airpt Florence

Our grandkids loved the set up - 2 bedrooms ! Genius!

We were travelling with our two grands - one being a boy and one being a girl. They are weird about sharing sleeping arrangements as a lot of kids this age are. We requested and paid for a suite so that it would have 2 beds and a pull out sofa and this way both would have a bed to themselves. The front desk clerk stated they didn't have these kind of rooms at this location which was frustrating. Needless to say I had to run find a Walmart and buy an air mattress. Then the ceiling had a leak and the corner of the sleep mattress got wet from the leak. Staff was very friendly though and the hotel was very clean.

Stayed for one night as passing through. Staff was very friendly, whole place was nice & clean. Pool was open late which made my kids very happy. Beds also very comfy. Overall very happy with this location.

Unfortunately, my granddaughter was sick while we were there in one of the beds. The 3rd shift front desk representative was extremely rude to me regarding this situation. I have worked in hospitality for 20 years and never would have treated someone the way this young lady treated me, especially over a 6 year old child being sick. I was also trying to be helpful by rinsing all the affected bedding out because this enployee wanted me to just put the soiled bedding in the hallway withoutdoing anything to it. In my opinion, this would have emitted a very unpleasant odor to other guests in the hotel. When I tried to talk to the clerk, she would tell me to "stop talking" and to "go away". I was shocked ar the level of disrespect and disregard this desk clerk had for the entire situation. She has no place whatsoever in hospitality. Then, to top it all off, I was charged for the soiled bedding, even though I spent over an hour at 12:00 am trying to do my best to at least keep the room and the hallway from an unpleasant odor.

Breakfast was dismal. No yogurt and coffee had no flavour. Not impressed by being located next to screaming kids next to the pool. Handy cap shower flooded the bathroom. Adjoining room was too noisy. Staff at desk were good on arrival.

The room for our stay was good. Continental breakfast was average. Hot tub and pool were great. HOWEVER, Day 3 my children developed chemical burn rashes from having too much chlorine/chemicals in the pool. Staff said it was shocked that morning. Pool was never shut down for this.

It was quiet and the children enjoyed the pool and hot tub.

The breakfast was the same for the 3 days we were there and the eggs were way to salty and the food was terrible. We were put next to the construction and we should have had a discount for that. Our bathroom door didn’t close, the room was peeling walls, mold everywhere and the floors were uneven and broken. The window had no screen and my kids could have fallen out. Not worth the money we spent for 3 nights.

This was the perfect stay for my family and I! I have a two year old and it was easy and comfortable to have this as a stay away from home!

Check in was quick and efficient with very friendly helpful staff. We reserved two rooms. One was very good but the second for daughter’s family had a stained sheet, toothpaste on bathroom mirror and hair in tub. My reason for only 3 stars.
