Wingfield Inn and Suites

The pool area was really special with a bungalow style and lots of plants around! This is definitely something kids would enjoy. There were also a few arcade games. The grand finale for me was the massive jetted tub in my room! It was like a mini personal hot tub, and after a long day on the road it was heavenly. The people were all friendly and helpful. My only criticism would be that the water temperature struggled to maintain a constant temperature while taking a shower, it fluctuated pretty drastically between uncomfortably hot and back to my set temp, or a bit cooler. The breakfast was delicious! The biscuits and gravy were excellent.

Good hotel for passing through town. Ceiling is thin so kids were playing until after midnight but management was able to take care of it right away. Bed was ok, liked the pillows. Room had mini fridge. Treadmill out of service. Room had sauna type bathtub, jets were stationary kind. Standard free breakfast, starnge curdle looking eggs, biscuits etc. Very nice large TV. Good for passing through town to your destination.

The room was spacious & comfortable. The mattresses were very comfortable, but very high (take a step stool unless you’re really tall!) The TV took some getting used to, & it would’ve been nice to have a chair to sit in besides the one rolling office chair but we made do. The shower had a good spray, & all the staff we encountered were very nice. We had pets (dogs) with us & they were very welcoming of them. Our room was just 2 doors down from the dog potty area so very convenient. I didn’t check the pool out. They seem to cater to longer term rentals (it didn’t seem seedy or anything though), there were families & others there that were staying a while-they had a nice picnic area with grills to use for them. Parking was good, & the location was convenient to several restaurants (Texas Road House was great, Ruby Tuesday not so much…). If we are back in the area we will definitely stay here again.

This is by far the best hotel in the etown area. I love the friendly staff, they always make you feel welcome and like family. Very clean and good breakfast.

The pool was my favorite area. It was a nice area to hang out while kids swam. It wasn’t uncomfortably stuffy like some indoor pools. Room was pretty clean but found a bug in the bed… it was NOT a bedbug but it did look like a flea.

My family and I have stayed at Wingfield Inn twice and plan on returning again and again. The staff are super friendly and kind. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast is delicious. The pool is cool and refreshing. Nearby restaurants are at a walkable distance.

Fantastic location and staff! Kids loved it! Pool would have been more enjoyable if The room was at all warm. It felt FREEZING. Thermostat was set to 70 degrees… that’s not ok for a pool area ….. all doors into pool area were also open from other hallways so it was a bit uncomfortable, unsecure and brought even more cold air in. For such a nice pool area… you want to people to want to swim. Please keep thermostat at an acceptable setting. This would keep us from Coming back unfortunately even though we enjoyed the hotel ….. with kids coming to visit their daddy while he is traveling there for work… they don’t want to be freezing but want to use pool. Back hallway by games was also uncomfortable. Random people coming in and out and someone smoked pot in the bathroom you have to use by the pool back there and left just as my kids needed to use it. There was even still smoke in it. Needs more security.

After being patient and considerate of other guests. We waited until 11:00 pm to finally complain about excessive noise from room above us , sounded like kids running back and forth playing . We will not stay there again!!! Room was clean and front desk employees were somewhat understanding

Everyone was super sweet. Took the kids there for New Year’s Eve because of how inviting the pool area looked. They had a great time they enjoyed swimming in the breakfast was great!

The pool was super nice for the kids and the breakfast was ammmmazing!
