Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Interstate 380 at 33rd Avenue, an IHG Hotel

The room was very bare bones, we had 4 people in our room and were provided no bedding for the pullout couch until we called. Even then they only brought one one extra pillow and blanket. We had to call for a second extra pillow. Our kids got cold in the middle of the night and there were no extra blankets in the room. There were also no sir straws for the in room coffee or a pen to use to write with.

I feel as if I can never find a reasonably priced property that isn’t rundown or clean. This is not that! I appreciated the clean, fresh room! I could still smell faint bleach on the all white bedding and it made me happy! They have a typical, but excellent included breakfast. The staff was super friendly. They welcomed every traveler in and chatted like family at check out if the guest was chatty. Convenient and I’ll continue to make this my halfway point stay.

AMAZING breakfast - super clean rooms! Was somewhat dissapointed about the room sizes... we reserved 2 rooms for 10 people (6 adults, 4 pre-teen kids) and were given 2 rooms - each with 2 queen beds and a single sized fold out chair that turned into a single (very narrow) bed. We ended up getting an air mattress and having 2 of the kids sleep on that. The rooms were adjoining as we had asked for - and THAT was a big plus as 2/3 of the rooms we rented on this trip told us upon check-in that they were unable to provide connecting rooms - so I was thankful to have everyone in one space. The fire alarm battery went off in the middle of the night - but I understand that nobody can plan for dead batteries - and the front desk clerk did come to take care of it within 15 minutes of being notified.

The hotel was under Renovations and nothing was said to us about that. Booked it for the pool because we had kids and that was not open either.
