La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Indianapolis Airport West

Decent hotel. Great for the price. We had 2 queen beds and a sofa bed for me and my kids to sleep and it was plenty. Nice pool area. No complaints.

This was an awful experience!! I checked in with my family after 16 hours of driving around midnight. Walked into my room with a bed bug right on my pillow. Went to reception and showed him the bug and to leave, was told I’d receive a refund the next day (video footage of this!!) next day came and went no refund. Then was told it would take 24-48 hours to process. I’m now almost a week out with no refund and the “manager” who’s also the owner still has not submitted the refund. I had to leave at midnight with my family to a different hotel!! Place is run down and disgusting with very seedy people hanging around inside and out. Do not stay here! I always love La Quinta hotels so that’s why I chose this location but wow this one is falling through the cracks. Gross and disappointed! I’d like my money back please!!!

Whole 3rd floor smells like marijuana. I guess it is 4/20. My kids were interested in the unique smell.

We really enjoyed our stay. We had a minor maintenance problem that they were able to solve the next morning. The room was clean everywhere except the couch. (We found lots of popcorn and cornels in and around the couch). The hotel was close to family and close to Indianapolis without the price of being in Indianapolis.

Reserved only for indoor pool as we had grand children visiting, was informed by the young lady at check in pool was closed, nothing on website nor notified when I had made the reservation weeks in advance. I asked if there would be any type of discount and was told by her she could just cancel us and we could just go somewhere else if that was an issue, it was 6pm after our granddaughters performance with the Indianapolis children's choir, obviously that was not an option. We had paid for the room through monday but ended up leaving Sunday morning since we couldn't have the kids over to swim, it was a rainy cold weekend, the room was nice but the bathroom has not been properly cleaned with tissues empty and low tp. Breakfast was not up to par at all, dti waffles and 3 day old gravy and biscuits as it was presented.

Driving from Michigan and passed through here after a 7 hour drive. It’s surrounded by other hotels but this one was reasonably priced with breakfast as I had by 2 children. Everything was a breeze from check in to check out. Only thing I didn’t care for was the wet smell in the room (probably cleaned carpets and didn’t air out well). Once in the room you don’t smell it. Also breakfast had stale bagels and cereal. The sausage could have been cooked a bit more but waffles, yogurt and biscuits and gravy my kids had were reportedly great. Overall I’d stay here again if in the area! (Even stayed an extra day)

The hotel was ok and fit the need for our one night stay. The room was in good condition and we were supplied with what we needed for the most part. The reasons for my rating. The shampoo bottle in our room was only half full -- could just have been a defective bottle, but who knows. When we first entered the room, it was an ice box, temperature set at 60 degrees. We turned on the heat for a bit to get it to warm up, but that didn't last long because there was a weird smell (probably from not being on for so long). We had planned on going swimming and didn't want it to be so cold, especially for our young children. Speaking of swimming, the pool was a decent size, small, but good enough for our kids to swim. My little one loved that the steps was the full width of the pool and having so much room to play there. However, the water was not the best. It was very murky and even our kids could tell it was not the best quality to swim in. The pool area was also messy. There were used towels on the floor, tables and chairs. There wasn't a designated area for towel return (like a basket/bin that we have seen in other hotels), so I assume that is why. But still, who knows how long they have been left like that. We went after dinner, and there were only 5 clean towels on the shelf. We needed 4, so the family that came after us didn't have enough. Not sure if they ended up asking for more after we left. If we ever go back to the area, we will not be staying here again.

Put me in a room. Door was open from the hallway. I opened the door, the room was trashed. Went all the back to the front desk. Told me sorry that was their last king bed. Offered me a downgraded bed size. I said no, I needed a king. Had to argue with front desk for awhile while my child ran the lobby. Finally agreed to give me a king “suite”. Was a very frustrating process.

The “keys” were constantly NOT working. There were several family members and we could not gather in an area to visit. As for my husband and I, we will not be staying there again.

This Hotel is highly overrated! No cleaning in public areas and definitely no sanitizing. There was literal dog urine in the hallway that was there atleast 3 hours! Definitely not a place to take your family and I wouldn’t even take my dogs there! The staff was very rude as well. None of the public areas or elevators were cleaned the whole time we were there!
