We did have an exceptional time staying at Tru! That said the complaints we had may be more of an issue for families or more persnikity customers. Our deadbolt did not work, we had to call for maintenence to fix the bathroom soap dispensers, and at breakfast, the chafing pans were filled with water instead of water underneath, leading to some boiled sausage patties and Canadian bacon. The hallways were oddly stuffy and there was no way to control the temp in the room. That said, there was nothing but a great experience here for usand we will be back.

Its now 11:42pm and i just called front desk regarding loud people in the hallway and probably next room. She answered me: “Give them time to settle in they just checked-in” I am unsure if I am just sensitive coz I was expecting her to say I am sorry if u and your family are being bothered i will try to tell them there are people in the same hall trying to get their sleep. I wonder if this staff will help out if me and my family will ever need more assistance

We needed a place to crash overnight on our way to pack up a college kid. It served fine for that. Room was small and bed not very comfortable. Breakfast area was clean and had good options. Fine for a 12 hour stay but not for anything longer than that.

The property was nice. For the life of me I cannot figure out why a hotel wouldn’t have a pool. But ok. I got over that. We went to one of our friends’ hotel and used their pool. Coincidentally, another Hilton. But, the area around it wasn’t very good. There were what seemed to be abandoned buildings to the left. And it was very difficult to navigate the area. It would have been nice to have known what was around that was kid friendly. I asked the staff and they sent me to the Slippery Noodle. I knew that it wasn’t kid friendly— but honestly, by the time I had asked, I had already gotten lost in Indy and we were all starving. I should have just ordered in— which I asked them about that as well… they were unhelpful. But that isn’t the hotel’s fault. They were just young girls. Oh— the slippery noodle is a bar. And they wouldn’t serve my kids. It we ended up getting stuck in a torrential rain storm because you suggested we just walk! We ate at white castle for the first time which is right next to the hotel. The food sucked. But the employees were great at the White Castle. I will say, that breakfast is normally later in Saturday mornings but the staff completely made breakfast earlier to accommodate for the state swimming finals and the state robotics finals. And the breakfast was great. In the end— it was the only meal we really ate the whole time— because of the Friday night dinner fiasco and then Saturday we went to our friends hotel to swim and they had food sent in.

We were in Indy for a family wedding - arrived early and our room was ready. This was very convenient for us so we didn’t have to rush getting ready for the evening.

This hotel is great!! We came in with our dog. They gave us waters for us, treats for the dog. The rooms are small but had everything you need. Extra storage under the bed. New and soft towels. A deak/table that rolls to move. A bench to put luggage on and rikm to sit and tie your shoes. Plenty of USB. We loved it. A place wuth games downstairs to play with kids / family. Breakfast was good and they let us bring our dog with us to eat. Coffee and tea 24/7. Very clean.

Our stay with Tru by Hilton was exceptional. The staff was amazing, welcoming and friendly. Remington was the one who welcomed us at our arrival and we felt so at home. All staff at front desk, at breakfast they really treated us as family and made us feel like we were home. We will definitely recommend Tru by Hilton to friends and family. I will recommend a small closet in the room. We got some water and a snack upon departure which was so lovely. Would recommend having it at arrival instead. Anything we wanted to know or find out the staff was really happy to assist us. Truly it was a family atmosphere and having breakfast in a common space was lovely cause we got to make friends with the other guest. We really enjoyed the hotel and it was conveniently located to the Convention Centre.
