Wingate by Wyndham Angola

Above my room was a couple with two very young children. They ran all around their room all evening. It was very loud and disrupted my sleep. I was very tired. I’m in my late seventies and it made my stay very uncomfortable.

We have a family reunion every year in Angola area. This was the nicest hotel by far that I have stayed at in and around Angola. Will definitely stay there again next year!

Great, modern hotel located conveniently off the highway and close to all things Angola. Our family loved staying there and will again!

Our room was great. Large bathroom counter, very large shower, large desk, even a make-up mirror in bathroom. The bathroom door has frosted glass, but don't let that concern you. We travel with shy teens, so we experimented. 😋 If you step back from the door about 2ft, you are very obscured and no one can see whether you are undressed or not. I loved the chair and reading light in the corner, but wish there was a stool or small table by it. For breakfast they had eggs, biscuits & gravy, sausage, several kinds of toast & English muffins, juices, milks, yogurt, cereal, instant oatmeal packets. Our only complaint is that you have to wait for a staff member to serve you the hot food items. So if 5 people are waiting to get hot food & you want a waffle, you still wait while they are all served even if waffle iron is empty. Had we known this, we would have planned extra time for breakfast since we had an appointment at Trine University at 8am. Give yourself 45 minutes for breakfast. 30 minutes was not enough if there is a line. If no one is waiting, then it's not an issue. We've stayed at many, many hotels that offer a free buffet in the past 10 years, and there are definitely ways to streamline this process. We will mention this at checkout. Overall, it is a lovely hotel! They told us that they offer a discount for families/students of Trine University, but you need to book directly through them to use it. 🙂 We will definitely stay here again.

2nd time staying here while my family camped at pokogon. Very convenient and cleN.

My family travel a lot for basketball tournaments. I have never been to a hotel that was so clean before. And the service we received was superb.This hotel is at the top of my list for all my travels.
