Hotel Indigo Vernon Hills, an IHG Hotel

Pool area was gross.. it smelled like dead fish in there. Water was cloudy. No towels and door to get in pool area was all rusty. Couldn’t open it easily. There was no bedding for the pull out couch which was dirty and old. Furniture in room had stains on it. I was with my grandchildren so I didn’t make a stink , but I will never stay there again.

Great place to stay. Front staff is great. Had problems with our keys they kept deactivating, I believe they are going through new management. Stayed there about a week. Service staff does not check rooms. I was missing soap, conditioner, tissues and toilet paper, not enough towels only left 3 when I had 5 people staying in this room, had to keep asking the front staff for more other than that , this is place is a great place to stay. Nice location. I would stay here again. I recommended it to a family member and they stayed as well. They only had problems with the keys. They only stayed one night. Thank you

I recently stayed at this hotel with my kids and found the location to be very convenient, with lots of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. However, the shower head in our room (508) was broken, which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, it was a decent experience, but the shower issue needs to be addressed.

Room right next to elevator, crying children and barking DOGS (plural),

The room was nice but the hotel did not have hot water to take a shower. One of the workers explained how they only had one pipe line and one maintenance guy so it’s normal that they didn’t have hot water. Patti was awesome and did what she could to let us go in another room to take a shower but unfortunately the other two rooms didn’t have hot water. Me and my family had to take cold showers but we where compensated for our stay. I would not book at that hotel for this reason

Front desk friendly and helpful. Needs new floor tile. . Wallpaper needs a update tearing off some walls. Only hot water in bathroom sink. Does not have a store to buy newspaper, magazines, toiletries pool toys. Swimming pool cold! Boring for kids nothing to do.

Noisy, packed with children's teams competing locally and very noisy parents, check in was not attentive and missed allocating chits for paid breakfasts. Breakfast is certainly spartan with limited food choices and not healthy. Kig bed room configuration very strange and cumbersome. Shower not in good working order and half broken. Our stay was based on a nearby family health emergency. I would not stay there again.

Liked the fold out sectional couch used for our kids.
