Ramada by Wyndham Galena Hotel and Day Spa

The stay was good. We were celebrating our 27th wedding anniversary and wanted to be alone, away from the kids. There was only one small problem: we were in a room directly across from a couple with about five children; they would not stay in the rooms and spent a lot of time screaming and running up and down the hallways. No one seemed to care, and that was both nights between 11-11::30pm. We are elderly; afraid to go out of the room for fear of being knocked over by one of the children. I know your employees cannot supervise other people's children, but they could have spoken to the parents and advised them to keep the noise down. I did not speak to the front desk because there was no way that they were not aware of what was going on. I will stay with you again, just wondering what I could have done to make the stay more enjoyable. Sincerely, Pat Miller

We were greeted warmly at check-in and check out. Hotel is very clean and felt safe. The only complaint is the built for toddlers toilet. Why do hotels use these ultra short round toilets??? Breakfast was good and served hot. The breakfast attendant worked very hard to keep everything full and cleaned up. In my opinion she was very overworked.

We went for a weekend getaway and the hotel itself is lovely, clean, and comfy. The breakfast was okay and service was good. The kids running around is our biggest complaint. They have a nice pool area, but a family with 5 or 6 screaming kids took up the majority of the space and we didn’t spent more than 20 minutes in there. During breakfast, another family with 3 kids allowed their children to run and scream from the lobby back into the breakfast area. We were hoping because it’s a spa resort and for the price, there would be minimal families and more couples on weekend retreats. Would love to come back and enjoy this place but with all the screaming children we probably won’t.

The Wyndham hotel was wonderful. Our room was a king studio suite. It was big enough for grandkids to set up a race track and race cars. The room was clean and spacious. Loved sitting on the couch in front of the fireplace. The bed was comfy. Enjoyed the large pool and hot tub.

We stayed to visit family and selected this property because it had a pool. Our eyes watered walking into the pool area and not having brought goggles, the kids did not get in. Also, after we arrived home we noticed a couple hundred additional charges on our card and when I called they said "keep checking your account, those should get refunded, we preauthorize double the stay and give it back to you". The stay was fully paid for at that time and it shouldn't be the guest's responsibility to "hope" to get refunded. It's 2024, technology can get you a better way of doing business!
