My husband, 2 of our young adult children and I were visiting family in the local area during the week of July 4th and stayed for 5 days. The check-in was easy, lobby area was very nice and our room was clean and ready. We were near the elevator but heard no noise, and there were some large groups staying at the hotel that week! The breakfast buffet offered various options each day (an egg and meat choice, make-your-own waffles, a variety of breads and muffins, etc.) although it would have been nice to have some other fruit options (berries, melon) in addition to basic apples, bananas and oranges. The hotel is conveniently located off the interstate and was easy to access. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the kitchen staff did a great job keeping up with replenishing the breakfast buffet, given how busy it was each day. We would stay again!

Very quiet! Very comfortable! Stayed for a Northwestern University graduation weekend and it couldn’t have been better. We had kids, baby and adults and the breakfast was an added bonus.

When we went the staff seemed distracted and was not helpful. Breakfast was not good and there was several kids running around with no parents or guardians around and the hotel would not do anything about it. The kids got a table right by us and we’re really rude.

A wonderful family friendly property. A bit out of the way of Chicago so expect a good hour drive for sightseeing.

This is a pet (friendly)? Hotel But my husband was attacked by a hotel residence dog The hotel was superb other than that incident the staff was super nice from the front desk to the kitchen staff amazing. But far as the dog incident goes Just because someone says there dog is friendly and trained that maybe when there in their familiar environment with their family but with strangers and many people coming and going can make a pet have anxiety all dogs should be on a leash at the hotel this dog parent could not handle him/her the dog did not listen to any command or the calling of his name the dog was completely unhinged!!

When we walked into the hotel we were slipping and my daughter fell due to the ice in the entry way and the blankets and towels the staff put down. Once we began to check in we were told we did not have a reservation despite the fact we had a receipt, confirmation number and had paid in full for the room. As our reservation is being looked for there are police officers speaking with a prostitute and drug dealer. The man at the front desk gives me the “phone number “ to call Hotels.com and it was an x-rated call service. Our minor children were sitting on the couch opposite the desk with the police and apprehended people between us and them. We could not get to our children as the escalation grew. The police finally moved the people and we grabbed our children. They never found our reservation and finally made a new one after seeing our children witnessing everything. Only one elevator worked out of 4, parties were going after midnight and the halls reeked of weed. We have stayed here for the past 3 years when in town for ice skating competition. Never again!

I booked 3 rooms for our family trip to Chicago. Prior to check in, I called the hotel to make sure that if we can have a connecting door or at least the 3 rooms be on the same floor and close to each other. The person I spoke with told me that he saved 2 rooms connected and the other room will be if not close will be within the same floor. When we arrived and checked in they gave us the 2 rooms with connecting door and the other room was on the 5th floor and now they’re claiming that if we booked our stay the rooms are not guaranteed. It doesn’t make sense that if 3 rooms are booked all together why woul id be on a different floors? I would understand if I didn’t call prior to our check in but I did and the person I spoke with confirmed it to me. They did some revision but the rooms will still be separated from each other. The lady who assisted us was not very helpful and the guy who initially checked us in looks like doesn’t know what he’s doing. Good thing we only stay 1 night and I don’t think we are coming back. Very disappointing. Never going back.
