Best Western Plus Champaign/Urbana Inn

Hotel itself was pretty decent, nice location. Wasn’t very happy with the staff. We met up with family for a couple nights, desk staff was rude to my daughter, then accused them of stealing a pillow after checkout, which they didn’t. We had to change our room the second night due to a clogged tub drain. Many strange rules posted all over as well. I would stay somewhere else mostly based on the staff.

High school team allowed kids to run through halls until midnight

4 people booked for our room and I had to ask for towels multiple times since they kept giving us 3 sets. Floors were really uneven in the hallways and fitness room like they had holes in and instead of fixing or leveling things they just covered them up with carpet and laminate flooring. Pillows were really flat so I asked for a couple extra and was told they don't provide extra pillows. You could hear everything in the halls and from the room above us. Breakfast was not very good. Sausage patties were dried out and cheese omletes had too much processed cheese ib them. The elevators were freezing cold and both had problems with the lighting where it flickered all the time. As a whole my family was not impressed. We won't be staying at a Best Western again. I'd rather spend a little more for a better hotel stay. This place was really run down and not worth what we spent to stay there.

Comfortable room and bed. Everything was very clean. The kids enjoyed the pool. And the breakfast was delicious!

Like so many hotels now, the doors are far too heavy and have no slow close. Slamming doors all night! Terrible. Should not have a hard floor in rooms. Loud when walking on them. Sports teams should try and be directed to lowest floors. Kids and adults were loud until 2am. All sports teams. Toilet flush is so loud from low-flow, fast-flush that we could the next room's flush at night. Very disappointed with little sleep due to rude kids and their parents in the hallway drinking, running from room'to-room, slamming doors, and very loud. Nice hotel, but not for rest and sleep after driving all day. Nothing done about the noise.

Very nice place- loved the vinyl floors, spacious room, breakfast was nice-loved they had trays so I could take it back to the room for my kids. Overall, recommend and would stay again.

The hotel failed to notify its customers their pool is closed. In my room the bathroom was very dirty and we had to clean it ourselves also the since was stopped up so as we started brushing our teeth the water was filling up with water. The elevators are FREEZING like the heat doesn’t work. I stayed at this hotel last year for Easter with my family and everything was great so I’m not sure why things have gone down hill

The room was in a great location for taking my dog out to go potty. The breakfast was very good with eggs, bacon, bagels, chobani yogurt, muffins, waffles and fruit. The beds were comfortable with nice pillows. We liked that the room had no carpet. There were kids running until after 10:00pm and it sounded like a herd of elephants. I was worried the noise would cause my dog to bark but he didn’t. Luckily they quieted down sometime after 10:20 so we could go to sleep.

There was a large pool party Friday night with around 10 young children under the age of & years. The parents sat on the side of the pool eating/drinking but no adult was directly in the pool with them. It was too loud for me to converse with my companion (both of us in the water) so we left after 40 minutes. Also there was a needle for sewing on the floor of our hotel room when we checked in.
