Wallace Inn

Great pool and hot tub. Open early for kids. Great family hotel.

The staff was very nice. We arrived early with two impatient kids and the woman working the front desk went out of her way to try and accommodate.

The hotel was clean and quiet. It could use an update but the staff was friendly. The pool was fun for the kids. The breakfast was ample but just okay. Service was slow as there was just one waitress to serve the entire restaurant. The hotel was the best option in Wallace. I would stay again.

Very inconvenient if traveling with kids and looking for quick move in morning with some overnight sleep. Wash basin was backing up constantly even with tiny amount of water, challenging to do face wash or brush teeth. Tap in wash basin would splatter water with force, need surgical precision to start water with low pressure. When informed front desk at the time of checkout, got response as thank you for informing, will put on maintenance list, why customer has to be source for maintenance and face inconvenience in first place. why not hotel staff make sure everything is fine in a room before customer checks in a room.

Family owned hotel, not a corporate chain, and it shows. So glad we stayed here for the local SkiJor event. Staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Nice room with everything you'd expect, at a really affordable price. Very kid and dog friendly property. Nothing is more than a 10min walk in the historic small town. Heads up, no elevator on property.

We love this place! The pool and hot tub was a plus for the family.

This was our second visit during the Xmas season at the Wallace Inn. Again, we found the hotel room very clean and accommodating, the hotel staff friendly, and the convenience of the hotel to Silver Mountain where we enjoyed a ski vacation with family. Our only disappointing comment is the restaurant two years in a row failed to open when it should have in the morning (7:00 a.m.). This time the girl failed to show up one of the mornings during our stay, which is too bad because the restaurant has a fine menu and conveniently located in the hotel. Outside of that problem, we will return and recommend the hotel.
