Holiday Inn Express and Suites Burley, an IHG Hotel

I was very impressed by the welcoming demeanor of the staff and just how kind they were to me and my children. We had stayed elsewhere in Idaho and definitely were not greeted with such kindness. Very accommodating. The hotel was very nice and we had a great stay.

Property is right in front of a par 3 course that is walkable and fun. Staff was friendly and very helpful. We thought we had an issue with vents and maintenance Mike was friendly and kind trying to fix the issue. It is within walkable distance of such places like the bowling alley, Wendy's, Panda, little Caesars etc. We had a two queen and sofa bed and it was plenty of room for a family of 6 (ages from 6-13) Pool is a decent size, gas fire pit out back. Breakfast was great. It isn't a large a hotel as some of their others but it was perfect for our needs.

The room was in pristine condition (a.c., clean, great toiletries, comfy bed). The indoor pool and hot tub was amazing for my kids.

Very disappointed with the lack of accommodations. Booked this hotel for our family because of the pool and hot tub for the family as it was advertised. Paid premium price in advance to secure the larger suite to accommodate 6 guests. Upon arrival, the pool and hot tub were out of service. No discount offered for lack of amenities. Upon arrival to our room we had 4 people needing to shower as we spent the entire day snowboarding. 5 min into the first shower the water went cold and never warmed back up. We were extremely disappointed and asked the front desk what was wrong. They told us that “somebody was working on the water heater earlier”. But, they couldn’t give us an answer or even offer us a different room to shower in. We reserved this room on hotels.com, so we were unable to get a refund. Very disappointed with this stay and it definitely ruined the remainder of our vacation.

Clean, great staff and as hotel breakfast goes…excellent! Perfect for a family, we didn’t swim, maybe next time…we have stayed twice and will be back!

The hotel was nice and clean. I was very disappointed in the breakfast and the breakfast staff. They had 45 minutes left to serve breakfast and they wouldn’t bring any new food out. Pancake mix was all gone, pastries were all gone, most of the hot food was gone. The kid helping with breakfast acted like you were inconveniencing him if you needed something. Other than that the rest of the staff was great, and it was a good time.

The hotel was nicely appointed, beds were comfortable. We did not have enough towels in the room, but as soon as we called for more, they were brought to us almost immediately. Room was not cleaned, however, grandkids would not move fast enough to get them out of the room for cleaning. This did make us not have enough tissue, toilet tissue and clean towels, again, we asked and received.

Expedia has overbooked this hotel and we are in the lobby waiting to see if we can get a room. We have been on the road 13 hours! I am beyond upset for my family, they are so tired and wiped out. I’m done with Expedia.

I liked that the room had 2 queen beds and a pull out. We have 3 kids and its hard to find that can sleep us all comfortabley. It was very nice, clean and a great breakfast in the morning. Will stay again. Highly recomend.

Pool is very small. The picture in the Expedia website is deceiving and misleading. We have selected this hotel based on pool pictures thinking that kids will have fun in pool. We are very disappointed with the pool. We respectfully request the full refund for misleading and adding wrong pictures in Expedia website.
