Hotel Coral Reef

We only stayed for one night and checked out very early morning to catch our flight, but the hotel was great during out short stay. Very welcoming staff - this a family owned business and very hospitable. Beautiful grounds directly across from the ocean. Rooms were spacious and had everything we needed.

The hotel is dated & could be cleaner. Other than the musty smell of our 1st floor unit & crappy beach chairs…The place is right on the beach & a good value for the price. Appreciate the homemade banana bread & family owned & provided us a fan for our room!

Basic accommodations in a central area of Kapaa makes a good home base for your Kauai adventure. Friendly, family owned feel. Free chairs and beach equipment. Affordable prices!

After noticing this beach hotel 10 years ago while walking the Kauai Beach Path, I knew I wanted to stay there someday. It is so cute and the people in the office are like family. Grandma bakes banana bread; a kid and a dog came to hang out during their desk shift. The king bed is amazingly comfortable and the sheets are thin but feel silky soft. The commonly used surfaces in the room were clean, but the baseboards and behind/under things really needed a deep clean. I would come back, especially for the location. It's convenient to the Kapa'a Neighborhood Center for yoga and Zumba, with a free county pool right there. Great coffee and meal options walking distance.

Shane and his family that run the Hotel CORAL REEF were extremely polite, courteous and helpful in every way. Any request we had for services and support were addressed immediately! They were "down to earth" people and made our stay there very pleasant! It is because of them, that on our next trip to KAUA'I, we will book the Hotel CORAL REEF!

Our room was comfortable with an AMAZING direct Ocean View steps to the ocean!!! Brandy and her family were so friendly and helpful with easy check in and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay! Our room was on 3rd floor and we sat on our lanai to watch the sun rise!! Beautiful!!

Nice location with direct access to a sandy beach. Small family run business with friendly and helpfull staff. But it has seen better days. Really run down interior, ripped carpets, broken tiles on the terras with metal parts uncovered. Left over cigarret butts and chicken poo. Light bulbs blown out. Pitty, place could be playing in the first league if looked after a bit more.

The building we stayed in was older but still very nice.They treated us like family and we very helpful with information
