We were on the island for a family wedding and a number of us stayed at the same resort which was perfect for our needs. This location allowed us close proximity to the wedding venue which was remote. The staff was friendly and accommodating and we enjoyed our stay very much and would definitley return

When we pulled up to the place, we immediately got worried but then went into the lobby and it looks pretty good! So we are thinking that maybe it’s not so bad afterall until we get to our room. While it had a view of the water, that’s about the only thing good. Here are the things that made the room downright terrible: 1. Virtually every window in every room except the water view, had other rooms with the guest able to completely look into our room 2. The walls are crazy thin and we could hear everything above and below us. Every footstep above too 3. The furnishings look like it was done in the 70’s with no cool update at all. The kitchen was beyond bad with the completely worn out cabinets that could barely close 4. No dresser or nightstands by the bed. We enjoyed all our stuff on the floor with no where to plug in our phone for the night 5. The bed was just a mattress on a crummy bed frame with no headboard and even worse yet, it had a barely fitting sheet on the top. Oh yeah and no comforter, just a sheet and a crummy OLD and worn out/stained blanket. Gross 6. The bathroom had virtually no counterspace and good thing we didn’t have younger kids because the way they had the glass sink bowl on top of the counter (trying to be cool), the could never reach it because it was too high. Even high for adults 7. No fan for nighttime to have white noise going and to try to not listen to the neighbors which are all around us

The location is secluded which is fine if that’s what you are seeking. The issues I had with this hotel are 1. it sounded like a heard of elephants with the family and young kids that stayed above us. There is absolutely no insolation. 2 The front desk does not answer the phone. The only way we could get a hold of anyone was to email. 3. They do not clean the rooms and you must fill out some kind of online form to have the garbage taken out , get towels etc… we didn’t totally understand the process and asked the front desk as we were getting pool towels. They forgot to submit it and my friend was angry when we got back to the room and it was still dirty. My friend was out of line with her tone when the young woman came to the door to deliver towels. I later emailed (since they don’t answer the phone) and apologized and said my friend was out of line. They came the next day and cleaned our room. I was going out to meet my local friends and realized I couldn’t find my Hawaiian bracelet. Thought I misplaced it although I hadn’t worn it. My friend also had earrings missing. I tore the room apart looking for my expensive bracelet that was a gift from my father in law. I emailed the hotel and of course they said they didn’t have it. I’m still just sick about it but know two things: I will never stay their again or travel with that friend again. :(

Beware >> Classic Bait & Switch We booked this hotel via Expedia. The room that we were allocated was very-very different than what was advertised on the website & surely different than what we paid for. Our room had no patio, no balcony, no view, ...nothing. On the day of arrival, we indicated that this was not the room that we got. The hotel staff said that they didn't have any availability that night & they will try to give us the correct room the following day. The same story for the next 3 nights. We spent 4 nights in a bad room. The room had a few insects in one of the beds which may be ok because we are in the tropics. However, what was not acceptable was the roach in the kitchen. The hotel has at least 10 such rooms along the road. The hotel seems to oversell the nice rooms (the ones pictured on the website with the balcony / patio / outdoor area). And for unlucky customers (like me), we are given the standard rooms. There was another family who ran into the same issue. They left mid-stay. No apology, nothing from the management. There is one other review on Expedia (Oct 2022) where the user has complained about the exact same issue. I unfortunately didn't see that review until now. The good reviews are from the lucky ones. Beware, there is a good chance that you will get a room that is nothing like what's on the website. We have the proper reservations from Expedia to prove that we did book the better rooms. Hope Expedia puts an end to this.

We booked a waterfront bungalow to celebrate our anniversary and my husbands birthday. It was amazing! Very private and quiet. The decor was Polynesian which we wanted, the kitchenette was perfect for our needs and it had two full bathrooms which was a plus. Oversize lanai looking out towards the bay and the mountains. Very nice pool and there are kayaks and paddle boards to rent and we did the sandbar excursion which was a lot of fun. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Have already recommended the hotel to several family members!!

Excellent experience near Kaneohe. Lovely and fully committed staff. Daily breakfast with the nicest view of the island is included. Hotel has very nice family flair. Hotel is on waterfront lot with immediate access to the bay, it offers kayaks to enjoy it. A decent amount of activities are offered, without the usual hard-selling approach. Excellent, free Yoga every morning on the decks with the best views to be had on the island. Hotel provides excellent guide for island attractions. We will go back to this hotel.

If you are staying on Oahu, get out of Waikiki. There are few places outside of Waikiki/Honolulu to stay, and this one is very good. Paradise bay resort was peaceful and relaxing. Better location for adults, not so much for kids. like the mini kitchen, helps with avoiding the outrageous $40 breakfast. I like the fact that it was fairly quiet in a residential neighborhood. It blended into the hillside well, WITHOUT being a Turtle bay-like gigantic eyesore of a development. If I go back to Oahu, this is definitely a place i would stay at again. I did also stay in Waikiki and hated it (obviously). The North and East of the island is very nice. Good location within driving distance to most everything. Grocery and other stores within 10 minutes (south).
