The hotel location is really convenient, walk to all the shopping center & eating places but about 10 minutes walk to the beach🤔 The hotel is really nice. Staffs are friendly and very helpful. Swimming pool looks very modern and nice but ideally for little kids only because it’s only about 1’2”. There is a jacuzzi about 3 feet and you can sit in a hot tub to enjoy the sun😉 The hotel room is very nice and clean but the only problem we’re my kids got bed bugs bite right on the 1st night to stay. The front desk staff helped to switch us to another room. But this time my whole family of 5 except my wife, we got bed bugs bites again even worse than the 1st night. My kids didn’t enjoy to stay because they couldn’t sleep, afraid of biting again but couldn’t avoid. Other than that, we enjoyed our time in Hawaii.

Unfortunately, we had three major issues: 1. Fire alarm went off on our first night there at four in the morning, and we had to walk down nine flights of stairs with our toddler. Then it continue to go off two additional times. 2. Walking out our second day there I noticed some roaches on our hallway, and when we got to the elevator, saw a group of staff there and notify them all they said was thank you, and walked away. No apology or anything. 3. The worst of all a pipe broke on our floor and begin to flood our entire hallway. When we got down to the lobby come to find out it was flooding into the lobby and in the pool area. The entire staff as expected, went into emergency mode, but we definitely felt like we were second thought. Hyatt’s motto is exceptional stay and unfortunately this wasn’t the case. Stayed at Hyatt before but definitely reconsidering now. Definitely a clean hotel and beautiful place but these three things made it a nightmare to stay.

We enjoyed our stay here because of the hotel’s clean rooms and close proximity to Waikiki. My family really liked this hotel because there is a Starbucks Reserve, Ice Monster (Shave Ice), and Spitfire (To go lunch plates). right next door. That’s not to mention Muragame Udon, Paia Fishmarket, Mitsuwa, and numerous other dining options that are also close by. I personally liked that this hotel was not as expensive as the hotels which are directly on the beach, and yet still close enough that the beach is a 5 minute walk away. The room we had was a Deluxe Queen which of course came with two queen beds, but also had a sofa-bed. We found the queen beds to be comfortable. The sofa-bed was used by our teen who said it did lack in terms of padding, but he still managed to sleep in it. (I think it’s ok for kids and teens to use, but adults would definitely want a real bed.) Sleeping at night was never a problem for any of us. The hotel provides free Wifi which was speedy enough for streaming video. I consistently got 25-30mbps - which is fast enough to stream video or play online games. (Of course we always had our VPN service turned on when using the hotel Wifi to protect our data.) The room comes with a TV which has a chromecast box. This was great because I could stream directly to the TV from my phone or tablet. The staff were all very friendly, and helpful, We never had any issue. I would definitely come back.

My family and I are very happy with our stay and couldn't have asked for a better location. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted by an extremely friendly staff, from valet to our housekeeper. Lea, made sure we had everything we needed and ensured we returned to a relaxing room after a long day of excursions. Will definitely stay here again.

This is our second time staying at this property and the reason being is for the PRICE, location, and the friendliness of the staff. The front desk is super pleasant anytime you walk pass, the dining is nearby, it’s only a block and half from the beach, the resort fee includes beach chairs, umbrellas, and sand toys for the kids. The only downside is there is no restaurant or bar in the property after Covid hit, however there are local eateries within a 5 minute walk in every direction. This is the most modern property I have seen when searching from a nice beds with nice flooring and not that old carpet flooring and nice bathrooms with Toto bidets which are amazing

Conveniently located, steps away from food and shopping. Friendly and helpful front desk. Did not have a great experience with the valet staff. We arrived to no help to unload our car. Considering the hotel charges 50 dollars a night for valet, I expected better service. The room was clean but some obvious signs of aging with a couch that was ripped at the seams of the cushion. Our suite faced west so had somewhat of an ocean view. The problem was that it was very hot throughout the day. Despite setting the thermostat to the lowest setting and not opening the curtains at all, it was still very warm. Maintenance came quickly when called but had checked and said the AC was running fine and that the heat was because we opened the curtains (which we did not). He did override the settings so we could set the thermostat to lower temperatures but it made no difference in the room. It became uncomfortably warm after 8-9am until 6-7pm. If you wanted an ocean view room, I’d recommend against getting the suite and against west facing rooms. We did not open the curtains for a view at all during the day, which was such a waste. And considering the price of the suite, I expected better. There is a pool, but it is pretty shallow. Only suitable for younger kids. It was a plus that the hotel provided beach towels and beach chairs, although it is for an additional resort fee. While there were some pluses to the stay, I would not choose to stay at this property again.

Hotel lobby is located on the Level 8, we had a late flight and it was nearly impossible to check in, because in order to you to get to level 8 you need a card-key to activate the elevator. Very inconvenient! We had another guest helping us to get to the lobby. Our room was spacious but got very stuffy at nights, windows cannot be opened. The hotel charges all guests resort fee about $40/day, no matter if you requested/needed the service or not. I find this very very unfair. I didn’t need the service and didn’t use it but was forced to pay a total of around $150 for resort fee. I could have used that money for other activities. I do not recommend this hotel for families with kids, I do believe you can get a better experience for the same price…

We already had a late flight but a delay meant we didn’t get to the hotel until after 2 am. Despite the hour, our family was greeted warmly and our suite was impeccable. What a comfort after a long international flight. Wish we could have stayed longer!
