Room was clean until I had to pull out the mini fridge and saw all the dirt and dust on top of and behind the microwave. Breakfast was an unmitigated disaster. The line for breakfast would give Disney a run for their money. One of the two waffle makers was out of order. All the food is tucked back in a tiny side room so you have to pack like sardines to get your food. And my family if 5 had to eat at a table made for two. Ready for the M. Night Shymalan twist? It wasn’t even THAT busy! The design and layout just doesn’t handle moderate crowds well. I’d hate to stay here when it’s super busy.

Came into town for only one night, as it is my bday weekend. I went to a spa that I love that is a 10 min drive from where I was. The room appeared clean but after getting settled, getting food and turning in. I seen a baby roach on the wall by the bed. I put something in the fridge and one scurried under the fridge and one was smashed on the wall. We shook our things and immediately left. Front desk staff was named mesha, she was nice. But she absolutely knew and did a fake shock. Also told us that she had a similar call from a different room. I checked out immediately. Will never stay again!

We got a junior suite with two double beds. No shower curtain was placed so we had to ask for it. Sofa bed and pillows were dirty and smelly. Never seen anything like that. Bedding sheets are almost off due to wrong size of linens. There were also stains on the walls. I would not never go back to this hotel. Honestly surprised that I didn’t see any roaches.

The computers in the lobby always had kids playing on them. Seemed like it was staffs children. The guests this weekend were loud and harassing the staff at the front desk. Very hard to watch and the guests in the lobby were causing much trash in lobby.

Unsupervised children in common spaces. Not the hotel's fault but my only complaint.

There was a youth retreat and kids were still in the halls and slamming doors at 3 am. I tried to call the front desk countless times with no answer.

My map app had a difficult time finding the hotel initially. We had to go around the block to get back to the entrance. There are no signs for the hotel on the main drive to guide you toward the hotel. The only sign is a very small sign right at the entrance which is very difficult to see at night. Our bed was broken. The box springs or base didn’t provide any support to the mattress and made terrible noises when you were getting in or out of bed. It was not the bed we are accustomed to having at a Hampton Inn. Whatever renovations were completed in the hotel were definitely not done in the junior suites. The staff was excellent and parking was convenient.

Israel was amazing. He handled a large breakfast crowd on Saturday...there was never a time when any item was not available. He provided assistance to all of the guests that needed it also, which were mostly 10-12 year old kids. Israel did all this with a smile on his face. Bravo sir.

This is a quiet and family-friendly hotel. It's convenient to I-85 and easy to access. The typical Hampton Inn standards are in place here, so you can expect a clean, well-managed environment at a fair price. Just be sure you're clear about what type of room you're getting. We thought we had booked a two-room arrangement (junior suite), and even called to verify the setup (vs. a full suite). But something was either lost in translation or a mistake was made, as we found it to be a single, open room when we checked in. And unfortunately the hotel was at capacity, so we were not able to change to a larger room.
