Holiday Inn Express And Suites Dalton - Walnut Ave, an IHG Hotel

Loved everything about my family’s stay here. No complaints.

Happy to see a new hotel in Dalton. We visit at least twice a year to see family and had been staying either in Ringold or Chattanooga. It is such a relief to have a nice new hotel in Dalton that is much more convenient to visiting family on the holidays. The hotel was super clean, and even though our room faced the interstate, it was still quiet and relaxing. I especially appreciate the black out curtains that keep the light out for sleeping in. The room was well appointed with a nice big screen TV, refridgerator and a comfy bed. Nice desk area for setting up my workstation to check emails and work when needed and lots of power options (both USB and regular plugs) for recharging all of our devices. My only complaint which is minor is that we were on the second floor and the ice machines are on the odd floors. But this was a very minor inconvenience. The hotel breakfast was pretty standard, but had great hot bar with eggs and sausage that were pretty good. If you need a bigger meal, the cracker barrel is right next door. The gym was good and provided all the equipment needed to get a workout in.
