When I looked this hotel up the rooms looked bigger, they advertised sound proof rooms- NOT the case. They allowed children to run around and knock on doors and disappear. Stayed here for wedding night and was VERY disappointed with the lack of privacy and front desk wouldn’t do anything.

I traveled from the DC area to visit family for Thanksgiving. We decided to stay at the hotel within 11 mins of family. The Avid Hotel went beyond my expectations! The check in was easy, the room was clean and the breakfast sandwiches were delicious. Everyone was friendly and polite and made me feel at home. I will definitely recommend this hotel to others if traveling to Augusta, GA area. Also, considering where I live ( DC area) the hotel price was great! It gave my credit card a break!

My husband and stayed here for a weekend trip to visit family. Great hotel. Clean, friendly staff, quiet, ample breakfast food options, great loaction excellent amenities. Would have been too small if we brought the kids with us but perfect for just the 2 of us. Would definitely stay here again

My credit card was charged an additional $25.00 for some unknown service. It was not disclosed at booking. Breakfast buffet was very lacking. Some breakfast sandwich that was so dry it was not editable, boxes of cereal that were all sugar coated, something children may want.

It was good we always stay here when visiting the family! Location is perfect for us! The only thing is that I wasn't aware they started doing a $50 hold on account (but they said you will get it back when you check out).. Nice Gym would like more hot breakfast items
