Late checkin -after 12am. We liked the convenient location and trusted "Hampton Inn". We had 2 rooms. Desk clerk was rude. He advised $35 parking fee, which we accepted, then he advised we couldn't park in the secured lot because it was full. I asked to clarify the parking charge, since we were not able to park in the secure lot, he then offered me the chance to park on the street or in a nearby parking garage if that's what I wanted. I said of course not-I just need to clarify the $35 parking charge and what that is for, if we can't park in your lot. Thru this he didn't even come close to making me feel like a welcome guest. I wanted to leave because of his attitude but we were traveling with other family and had 2 rooms, it was after midnight, and we were exhausted so we stayed and dealt with him. Next, I verified 1 room was a King and 2nd was 2 queens. He said yes. We ran my debit card for the room plus $100 incidentals and he claimed it was declined. I attempted it 3 more times and all 3 times it declined. We then ran it on another card and he claimed it went thru. When we got to the rooms, they were both King. The one I was in was Accessible - and VERY SMALL. 3 slept in the 1 bed. There was hair in bathroom (not ours) and a used cup on the floor under the desk (not ours). At checkout we found we were charged twice on same room - the first time my debit was run it went through. It declined 3 more times because my credit union had a fraud alert on the account.

I reserved 3 rooms put two rooms under each of my children. Big mistake. Even though i was paying the bill this caused such an issue with the front desk. I paid for the rooms PLUS a $200 deposit PER ROOM. My husband also reserved a room because we had to add a room after i reserved the 3 but the hotel was not willing to add to my reservation. My husband paid for his room before we arrived but had to pay the $200 deposit as well. 10 days after check out and we are still waiting for said deposit and no one at the hotel is willing to help. One of our rooms was to be disabled accessible. To say that was a joke is an understatement. All that made this room accessible was a doorbell for hearing impaired and a handrail (which is in all rooms) in the bathroom. My mother-in-law could not get in the bathtub without help and the bed was too high for her as well. How is this handicapped accessible? What if one of our party were in a wheelchair? Room was dated but clean, beds were so soft and uncomfortable that sleep was impossible. The homeless issue kinda caught us off guard especially when one followed us in the lobby and tried to follow us to our room, very scary.

We had a suite for a family getaway. The staff was pleasant and assisted where they could. Upon arriving in our room two lights didn’t have bulbs which they fixed quickly. The room was overall poorly lighted (like most hotels) but that was the only shortcoming. Good room for the value

The location was close to where we wanted to be, but the parking was terrible, the hotel was surrounded by homeless folks begging, I did not feel safe walking to our car, and the room itself was odd. The room was laid out with a window to the main hallway (it of course had a shade, but still) and the light over the kitchen area did not work. The bathroom did not have a fan. And the hotel did not have the room type I was sold, which caused issues. However, they did comp the parking fee for the trouble. The hallway does have open windows at quite a low level, for those traveling with younger children who like to climb- you'll want to keep a close eye.
