Homewood Suites Atlanta Buckhead

I like the area around this hotel. The hotel looked very nice however we had a terrible experience with the air conditioner. We had two rooms booked for two nights. The AC in both rooms did not work. It was late at night so I did not want to move my two young kids and senior parents. The hotel staff provided us box fans to use for the night because the technician told us that they would have the AC fixed first thing the next morning. At 10am the following morning, we were told they will work on our AC ASAP. We allowed them all day to work on it. We did not come back to our rooms until 8pm that night. We came back in our rooms and the AC were not fixed. I came down to the front desk and the guy just told me they could not fix it and our only option was to get 2 different rooms. He gave us room keys for 2 rooms without checking to see if the rooms were good to go. I had to go there myself and come to find out one of the rooms were at 79 degrees even though the AC was running. I had to call the front desk and he told me to come down again to get another 2 rooms. Again, I had to go and check those rooms myself. For the "hospitality" staff, this guy did not care. He had his earphones on the whole time he was working on our issue. There was no explanation of the issue, checking on the rooms prior giving them to us, did not offer to help us relocate. The maintenance person, Mario, did a much better job that the so called "hospitality" person.

My daughter and I enjoyed our week stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and any little issue we had were attended to in a timely manner. The staff had a very family like environment and we felt very safe. The lady who runs the kitchen is a sweetheart (can’t remember her name) and the overnight front desk attendant was also a darling. The rooms were clean, the mattress was a bit soft for my liking but that was my only issue. All in all, a really positive experience and I would definitely stay here again.

We chose this hotel because it had a pool. The kids get dressed in their bathing suits head down to the pool and the doors are locked. My husband goes to the front desk to ask why the pool doors are locked ?? and the employee states that they haven’t cleaned the pool yet for the season so it’s not open……. This wasn’t posted on their website nor were we allowed to even sit around the Terrace. After being at a Volleyball tournament this was extremely disappointing to not be able to allow my kids to unwind from being inside the Georgia World Congress Center all day. Besides the pool being closed and it being well over 85 degrees outside the air conditioner on our room never went below 77 degrees. Our sheets had what looked like period blood stains all over them that we called down and asked to be changed because we had just checked in and the front desk told us we could do it ourselves. That house keeping had already left for the day. I would’ve rather stayed at an Airbnb! This place is ridiculous and you have to pay for parking separately for the duration of the stay.

Knowing we would have a long drive to Atlanta for a single night for a family get-together, then have to turn around the next morning to brave Atlanta bottlenecks and drive back home, we just needed a quiet, relaxing, economical room in a Buckhead hotel for one night. Homewood Suites not only met these criteria but far exceeded them. Among the friendliest staffs at any hotel (Linette, MJ, and Erin at the front desk, plus the housekeeper and the breakfast personnel). Amid Buckhead's bustle and bumper-to-bumper traffic, this was a modest, dependable oasis. We hope to return.

Wonderful polite and helpful staff. Rooms were perfect for a large family and the amenity of the full kitchen a plus. Only issue was the AC in my room did not work. The hotel had to provide floor fans, which they did promptly.

Great for families. Clean. Easy Parking.

Not what you would expect from Hilton. Hotel had a nice setup and family suite was spacious. However, there were bugs in the room, and the A/C was horrific. For whatever reason, they decided to build a cabinet around the mini split wall unit. Doing so completely shut off the units ability to breath and blow air. They did this in both of our rooms. Top of the cabinet was loose so we had to take it off just to get a little bit of air to come out. Still did not cool down the room. There was no bathroom exhaust fan, so the room heated up even more if someone took a shower. At least the staff was kind enough to get us a portable fan to help us be able to sleep.

My family and I stayed at this location for four nights. The rooms were clean, but the AC did not work efficiently in one of the rooms. The air coming out of the vents were slightly cooler than air from the fan. This was/is unacceptable because the room never cooled off.

Absolutely amazing! Hotel was beautiful, friendly staff, just made our family trip even better, we will definitely stay there every time!

Me and my family checked in around 630am Friday morning I booked the room for Thursday-Sunday. When we arrived I checked the room and I checked the water in the bathroom and the water in the tub was ice cold. I let it run for 30 mins still ice cold. I notified the staff around 730/8am they told us we could take a shower in another room. So we did that and they told us that they were going to fix the problem. Me and my family left and came back around 900pm problem still not solved and was told we had to leave tonight. We asked the guy could we stay tonight and leave tomorrow morning he said sure. The sofa bed was broken so that couldn’t be use. The hotel water in the tub couldn’t be use either and all the rooms in the hotel was booked.
