Hyatt Place Atlanta / Alpharetta / Windward Parkway

On arrival it was discovered that our room was given away by the previous shift and the hotell was full, even though we'd called ahead and verified our reservation and they said we were okay for a late arrival. We had to repack our car and go to another hotel for the night (special needs kid and medical equipment), arriving to now separated rooms about 4:15 a.m. at the other place, then pack up and leave that hotel before checkout at 11 a.m., then unload again back at the Hyatt when they made a room finally available to us. Not a great check in experience. Otherwise if they hadn't have done that, it wouldn't have been so bad.

Grateful for the manager making sure I only was charged one pet fee since I had two small dogs under the weight limit. Stout pet fee though at 75, compared to surrounding hotels advertising less than 50. Staff was incredibly kind, especially security detail at night. I did have to contact accounting about an additional $100 charge and after some back and forth was finally told it was a mistake and refunded - not a huge deal but shouldn’t happen. Pool needs a good skimming but I’m sure kids wouldn’t mind. Overall 3/5 for the price point.

Me and my family enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was pretty good. Only wish they had a waffle maker but everything else was great! Would definitely consider staying again.

Air conditioning did not work in the room and the thermostat was incorrect. When it was supposedly on 70 degrees, the room was sweltering and much much hotter. The air conditioning did little to change the temperature, only coming on occasionally and temporarily lowering the temperature. The entire family shared a sleepless night because of these conditions.

We always stay at the hyatt for business trips and usally they are accommodating. Today was the last time we would ever spend our money with the company. We had a three night stay at this location and asked to use a meeting room for a zoom call to handle an important business call, the baby we have would be too loud and may distrupt the business call. We were told NO! In the past the hyatt hotels have been more than happy to let this happen. Most of the time the rooms are unoccupied. Tonight we asked and were told no, by one of the front desk managers. We then ask if we can rent the room becuase we needed a private setting for the call she said, no; the rooms are rented weeks in advance. I then proceeded to ask to rent another sleeping room for the call. Then decided it was better for me to check out and do business elsewhere. Needless to say we will sit in the car to take the business call. They definitely need to be more accommodating to loyal guests. Book elsewhere.

Love the convenience to the interstate and the availability to find places to eat. My family stays here every time we come to the ATL area to visit my grandkids.

I did not like that we chose this hotel for the pool mainly for our kids and the whole time it was closed. And in our bathroom we kept getting a horrible cigarette smell that gave us headaches

I liked that it was right off of 400. This made it convenient to family I was visiting.
