Hampton Inn & Suites Alpharetta

The stay was great for my family and I we had enough space and privacy and the staff was friendly and helpful we would gladly return for a future stay

I chose this property because it offered breakfast and was listed on Expedia as "Newly Renovated". Check-in staff were pleasant, although they were out of fresh baked cookies, disappointing the kids. Got into the room, and it was fine. Seeing things up-close, it was less appealing. Bathroom door looked like it had walked through a minefield, missing towel hook was apparently ripped off (and not painted underneath, shower had a removeable shower head, but the hose sheath was ripped (leaving an exposed, rubber hose underneath), and it wouldn't stay aimed outwards (and would fall and only shoot straight down). Toilet bolts were missing and rusted with no cap, and the bathroom corners were all filled with grime (and hair). It just looked rundown and worn out. I couldn't fathom how this was a "renovated" room. The rest of the room was fine but not overly nice or new. Breakfast the next morning was very sparse, not what I'm used to at a Hampton. Very little to choose from, and the light roast coffee was out, as were the eggs. I told the front desk worker, and he nodded. The cookies at the front desk were missing again when we checked out. Overall, the stay was okay, but more than that, it represented what has been a consistently disappointing trend with staying at Hampton. The chain has become mediocre at best, and I'm looking for another hotel brand.

Best hotel stay in awhile my family and I will be there again soon

Someone had already checked me in when I got to the hotel. I didn’t have to show id or anything. I was told to watch my step because the carpet may still be wet. They had to clean it. “Some kids” or something had messed up the room but not to worry that they had cleaned it. I walked in the room and there was still an industrial fan blowing on the carpets in the room. I ordered and had gotten a receipt for two queen beds and got a King with a sleeper sofa. The hotel was booked out for the night. The bathroom sink has previous guest toothpaste or something still smeared all over the front. Otherwise, the room seems clean. The carpets were still wet in some spots and that was gross to me.

The hotel was clean and neat. Check-in was easy and the desk personnel friendly. Our room was comfortable except for a few things: We had to raise the volume on the TV whenever the A/C came on and lower it when the air went off. The toilet would have fit an elementary school child well. It was very short. The wait for the elevator was long; I think that only one1 was working as I rode the same one for numerous trips and waited for a non-full elevator with the same one returning. Breakfast the next morning was good and the staff kept the area clean.

We chose this hotel for a family vacation and everything was perfect and the front desk was very helpful. Would stay here again when I’m back in the area.

Everything was great, the room was really big and spacious for our family of 6. Would definitely stay again!

Overall great staff - the weekend part of my 4 day stay was noisy with kids softball teams.
