Ramada by Wyndham Venice Hotel Venezia

HOTEL IN DECLINE... We have stayed at this property 2-3 times per year for many years. It is going downhill and fast. It used to be spotless. It is no longer a well-maintained property. The hotel does not restrict the pool to hotel guests, and it becomes the make-shift city pool and it is no longer safe for your children to run around and play. The no smoking on the pool deck is not observed or enforced. Cigarettes butts are thrown everywhere and not cleaned up. The hot tub has not worked at all for our last two trips to the Venezia. They rarely have towels availalbe. The pool advertises open until 10 pm which is nice after a long day on the beach; but it typically closes much earlier with no warning. We have LOVED this place for years and we are very dissappointed to see it going down hill so quickly. I tried to address this with the Hotel Manager and she was quite rude and had a long list of prepared excuses. Venice is awesome, and this hotel used to be one of our favorite parts of our visits; but, we have given them one too many chances and it is just no longer worth the money. Hopefully they will remember what made them great and get back to a clean, maintained, safe, and friendly hotel which they used to be. After multiple dissappointing stays at the Venezia, I do NOT recommend staying here. There are other brand new hotels in the area where we will stay on our next trip.

Nice rooms. Quiet. Unfortunately the grounds were not as clean as they could be. And walking by the pool bar outside on the way to check out in the morning, it was like everyone had been kidnappat closing time, trash, unfinished drinks remained on the bar and tables…. Weird Also, on returning to my room at 4 pm after a day at the beach, I had to hunt down the housekeeper to get towels, as she had yet to make it to my room….

The pool area was beautiful and relaxing. The rooms were small for a family of 4, and the beds were a bit on the hard side. The bath towels were tiny and rough. No free breakfast since they have a restaurant on site. I need to learn to pay more attention when booking, because “breakfast “ does not mean complimentary.

Well the 1st room that had a Chair in it that looked like someone must have used it as a ladder, Sand still on the floor for the previous stay. The second room was an adjoining room and the people were NON-Stop Smoking, fighting, slamming the door, leaving the T.V. on over night on high volume. then on Saturday night it must have been Prom night kids were molesting one another out side my room. At the pool everything Goes!!!! Smoke Cigarettes, Pot, what ever you have the signs on the gate mean Nothing...No supervision on the property, when you call the Front desk they say they would check it out but Never appear! I reported it at check out also and you would think that Jeannie Gomes the Manager would call me but to no avail. So I gave it a day and called her, NO ANSWER left her a message day 3 still no call back....Maybe they need to let her go now. I have stayed at this property 8 times and it keeps getting worse....

I reserved a room here and upon arrival was appalled by the condition of the facility with the Wyndham title on my reservation I and the price of $287. Per night for a standard room expected better not a transitional hotel with rusted cars in the parking lot peeling paint and 29 kids running screaming outside my room. I quickly left this hotel turned long term resident for displaced families of the hurricane it looked a bit like a flop house hotel. Travelocity’s distance in reversing the registration was very helpful. The desk clerk told me next time I should call the hotel and ask bout the condition of it before booking

The property had children being chased into their room by two women. I killed several roaches in my room.

I arrived to check in at 4 and it was half past 5 and there was no room, when at last almost at 6 they gave me the room. There was a pool party in the pool and the children couldn't enter. Horrible, I never come back

Checkin was bad didnt have the days right for are stay,got locked out of our room because key cards didnt work and every time we left had to have staff come and let us in very inconvenient for a family on vacation, breakfast was absolutely terrible everything was either undercooked or so hard you couldnt eat it a waste of money we had to go other places to eat breakfast, but still had to pay for it because it was added on to to the price,will never stay again.

Great pool for the kids. Clean room.

We were in town for a quick trip. It was fine for that. Price was good. Room was very clean. It was a little loud (kids yelling) at night but very safe and convenient location.
