What an amazing stay. They we t over and above for us. We had our puppy with us. They made sure we were put in a room close to the our door doggie area, had doggie snacks, made sure all of including the puppy were comfortable. The front desk ladie was so wonderful, she even got on the floor and played with our fur baby. Breakfast was nice. Sandwiches fruit yoguart pastries oatmeal waffles. Such a good variety. We will definitely stay here again.

I am really happy with my stay at this property. The room was very clean, the whole place was very clean. The breakfast was so good with lots of options. I stayed with my mom and 2 small children, we loved the pool and how close the beach was! Will for sure be staying here again in the future!!

I'm a frequent business traveler, spending around 150-200 days in hotels each year. During the Memorial Day holiday weekend, I took my family to Sarasota and booked a few days at the Home2 Suites. In general, it is a hotel that I like due to its amenities and room size. However, my stay was marked by a few issues, mainly poor customer service. First, I was chased in the parking lot because I was taking one of their beach towels to the beach. This seems simple to fix: just ask for a deposit and if the towels are not returned, charge the full cost. Not to say that I was paying more than 200 dollars per night. The second issue occurred on my last night. My family booked a canoe excursion on the last day from 9:00 to 11:00, and I asked the front desk in the evening if it was possible to do a late checkout (from 11:00 to noon). This request did not seem like a big deal, as they had no other customers scheduled for late checkout. I witnessed one attendant putting my name down, but another whispered to not do it as it was restricted to Hilton Honors members and she wasn't in the mood to help me out. While I am a Hilton Honors member, I had booked with Hotels.com due to discounts applied to my reservation. I also noticed how they seemed annoyed by customers asking for small favors while I was downstairs having breakfast and waiting to leave on my last day. Therefore, if you ask me, try the Holiday Inn across the street.

We may live in Venice, but my daughter wanted to have a girls night with her best friends where she could also swim. We chose this hotel as it was close by and at a decent price to accommodate us. I was pleasantly surprised with how bright and clean the entire hotel was. The rooms are a great size and fit 2 adults and 3 kids comfortably. I loved that there was a curtain to separate the living room space from the beds, enabling the kids to continue enjoying their time together while the adults had their own space to relax. The best part was the beds. I can honestly say this was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. The breakfast in the morning was decent, and the girls LOVED the make-your-own waffle station. I wish there had been more meat-based proteins such as individual bacon or sausage rather than premade sandwiches, but overall, it was a great value. We will definitely return for any future girl's trips!

Staff was wonderful. They were like family!

The desk and cafe staff were extremely accommodating. Professional and very courteous. However, the walls are paper thin and we had a crying baby, a yapping dog and could hear the conversation and movements in the next room. Also, our room smelled like dirty feet. We could hear the a/c compressors in the surrounding rooms going on and off constantly all night. Sorry to report a very sleepless 4 night stay.
