Everything was great!!! Couldn't ask for better service. Treated like family every day. 💕

Area is great. Large group of adults and teen age boys about 25 people. Nearby the hotel all walkable a lot of choices. Like being in downtown Disney but not Disney. The hotel staff very nice friendly and helpful. However, the hotel is frozen in time and needs badly new beds and pillows for comfort. Room bathroom clean including the shower. The rooms carpet gross and seemed old and outdated. We loved room had mini fridge and microwave. A lot of charging in room electronic options. However beyond inside of room not obvious to be able to charge. They had no breakfast period for our needs or seemed at all. That is disappointing with kids. Overall the hotel needs a deep dive up to date overhaul. It does feel dark and older than it likely is. Overpriced for the quality.

Wonderful property, walking distance to all activities, restaurants & shopping. Comfortable & clean rooms. Friendly staff would definitely return and recommend to family & friends.

The staff here, are the most friendliness you will ever meet. They treated us like family. My 11 year old ended up being the highlight of all of their days. They knew him by name by the 2nd night in.

The location was awesome, right near the Sumter town Square where the bands play. The hotel was decent. The pool was really nice and had a great view of the lake. The only negative was the service. The hotel promised us a pack and play for our toddler, and despite being told multiple times that they would have one for us, they ended up not having one available. We first noted it on our original reservation. Then we called a few days in advance to confirm they would have one. Then when we checked in, they said it was in the room. When we got into the room, it wasn’t there, so we called and they said they would be right up with one. When they didn’t come, we had to go to the front desk and that’s when they finally told us they didn’t have one available. They need a better inventory management system for their pack and plays, and to just be transparent if they don’t have one. We were able to borrow one from a friend who lives in the Villages, but the way they handled it was poor.

Room was very comfortable but do wish the rooms had curtains to block out some light. Overall we had a great trip to visit family nearby and will likely stay at this hotel again!

Third stay at this convenient hotel located adjacent to Sumpter Landing. Quick walk to all the Villages has to offer. Seemless check in and out. Room was clean but seemed stuffy upon entry (temp was @ 72). Decor is a bit dated and for the price, an included continential breakfast would be nice. I'll be back as I visit family who reside in the Villages often. If another hotel comes to the area near Brownwood or further south, watch out, you will have to pick up your game.

No drawers in room, no couch or chair yet can't easily see the tv from bed. Too short of a tv stand. Guy from outside came in everyday and used the pool. zero security onto the property and into the building. The pool surface is rough and was scraping some kids that were swimming. The lounge chairs are black and burning hot in the Florida sun. The entire hotel is very darkly lit. I feel like this is almost a great hotel but not sure I will stay again. Didn't like seeing elderly people arguing with the timeshare sales people that were in the buidling most of the days. Doesn't have daily cleaning and on the day they came said I am leaving tomorrow but need towels. They took all the towels and only gave me 2. The night stand is tiny and has a lamp with a huge base so couldn't put anything on the night stand.

Great place to stay when visiting family or friends in and around the Villages. Very nicely appointed rooms with nice view of the lake. Great walking path along the lake. Easy walk to restaurants, shops and entertainment stage.

The Waterfront Inn on a lake in Sumter Landing was amazing. We booked a room to surprise our daughter and son-in-law for their 1st year anniversary. The staff was so helpful, they allowed us to check-in early so we could decorate the room and they had a list of food and drink items that were set up prior to the kids' arrival. The kids were so surprised and had such a good time. the Inn is walking distance to entertainment, food and shopping, What more can one ask for!!!!
