There were long blond hairs on top of the bed and som more hair on the pillows. I don’t believe the room was cleaned properly. The service at the restaurant is mediocre. Had to wait a while to get serviced at breakfast when there was only one family seated and the restaurant was empty. There were 3 waitress standing around talking. In a separate occasion, we were questioned about our breakfast vouchers in front of other guests, implying we were lying about turning in our vouchers. The breakfast staff is a disaster.

Once again I stayed at this hotel with the assurance of been in a safe, clean and friendly environment. Every year I stay in the same place for family friendly vacations.

Place was very clean as it always is, they are still renovating the rooms and they look great. Our only disappointments were dogs are supposed to be in the far back building and there was 1 in the main building and 2 different people actually had dogs out in the pool area where they aren't supposed to be and nobody said a word to them. Also there was a little league tournament over the weekend and there were alot of kids there raising hell in and out of the pool and the parents let them do whatever they wanted to do. Management never said a word to them.

The only complaint was we were there for a youth baseball tournament & 1 ice machine was broken & the only other said do not fill coolers. When you have to get 7U kids to the field by 7:30 am having to find a store to buy ice is a hardship. My room was very clean and the food in the restaurant was excellent so that was my only complaint.

Not sure where to start so I will try to keep it short. If you can get pass the woman at the front desk with the disgusting fingernails or the kitchen worker who has her two kids running around the pool area with her back to them or the gross towel that sat in the hallway all weekend long- guess this is the place for you. We were VERY disappointed and would not recommend this property to anyone.

Everything was amazing Nicole at the front desk was very lovely and treated my family and I like family including my pup. 5 stars go out to her. Food was great the chef knows how to throw it down in the kitchen. Dorene was excellent also taking my breakfast order she’s a very nice lady. Room was very clean the bed could be a little More comfortable had to wrestle with the mattress at night to find the right spot lol. But besides that I give the hotel overall a 4.0 everything was great. If the bed would have met my expectations would have been a 5. But if you thinking of booking don’t hesitate it’s a great hotel. I’ll be back.

Great price. Clean. We have stayed here twice with our little ones. Nice and attentive staff.

My daughter & I checked in for our 7-night stay and were initially given a 1st floor room on the pool side (we had requested a poolside room with balcony). However, the room smelled musty & was very dark. Plus, it was located right next to the Tiki Bar which was way too loud. I went to the front desk & requested a 2nd floor room & we were given it immediately with no problem. What a difference! Farther away from the Tiki Bar & the 2nd floor room was bright & cheerful. It made a huge difference in our week-long stay. Plus, the a/c drowned out the rock music that either played all day long or in the evenings until 9 pm. We chose this hotel due to its proximity to Nokomis Beach & Venice, which was great. Also, the room was clean and the beds very comfortable. Overall, a great place to stay! Only caveat: the Tiki Bar & pool area is loaded with partiers & kids which extended into the hallways once the music stops at 9 pm. Otherwise, I would recommend this hotel!
