First off, I would like to state that this is an authentic review (from a human), stemming from my recent stay approximately 1 week ago at the Hilton Garden Inn at St Pete Beach in Florida, to be deliberately specific. Transparency is my motive in this review, so that others will have fair warning before booking here and having to experience what my family and I did at the Hilton Hotel in St. Pete, Florida.
I am reluctant to have ever booked a 4 night stay here. I was repulsed by the horrid customer service; Practically everyone was rude and I'm not sure if that's the norm in St Pete or if us being an interracial family was the prime reason, but we definitely experienced some heavy racial nuances and undertones. Surprisingly enough, Gulf Shores Alabama was a warm welcome compared to the hospitality (or lack thereof) at the Hilton Garden Inn at St Pete Beach.
There are at least 20 different hotels on that small strip, almost touching eachother. We strongly recommend booking with any one of them, EXCEPT Hilton Garden Inn at St. Pete. We definitely expected more from you, Hilton. I've been waiting for the manager to return my call regarding the unauthorized charges they made to my card and still have yet to get a response this is unacceptable after spending over $3k at their establishment never again will i stay at a Hilton property.

One of the most beautiful beach resorts with delicious drinks and food in St. Pete! Friendly, fun and family oriented! A gem!

I am giving a ONE STAR for my family's experience. I was going to be flying in very late at night. My son and his girlfriend was going to be staying with me and getting in earlier. I called the hotel that morning asking if my son could check in for me. They said no problem. All I need is his name. That night my flight was delayed and didn't land until 1:30am. My son contacted me that the front desk would not let him check in since he wasn't 25. His girlfriend and him were sleeping on the sofas in the lobby. They had just finished day three of a 14 hour a day drive. For some reason, sleeping in the lobby was ok, but checking in the room that I and they gave permission for wasn't ok. I immediately talked with the front desk and demanded that they let them into the room. They reluctantly allowed them since I was on my way. The age of check in is actually 21 so they lied right off the bat. My son is 20.5 years old. When I asked for permission for him to check in for me they never asked his age. Considering he is so close in age and I had made this arrangement they should have allowed it. When I asked the front desk clerk if he thought it strange that two people were sleeping in the lobby that late at night he said it's not uncommon. That alone should concern anyone staying at this hotel. He hadn't even asked them who they were. The next day I spoke with the manager. Her primary concern was who I talked to about my son checking in for me. she repeatedly asked

The property was very clean. The rooms do not have carpeting which is a plus for me. The beach was steps away and you get two chairs and cabana included with your resort fee. Very quiet and family friendly. Hotel is very close to good restaurants and there is a Dunkin Donuts and 7’11 right across the street.
My only complaint which I feel needs to be addressed by the hotel is the placement of the air vents. We had a two queen bed room and one of the beds is uncomfortably close to the air vents. No matter how low we turned down the fan it still hit the person sleeping on the bed dead on and made sleeping very uncomfortable. Although I loved the hotel, this will make me think twice about staying there in the future.

Definitely will be back next year!! Came here with our 2 kids and it was absolutely amazing. Coconut Charlie’s is fun and has a great burger, and shrimp. Pool was fun, beach was right there and you can access everything! Free hot coffee downstairs and great people all around.

We loved staying here and visiting St. Pete beach! The pool was a fave with the kids! The only downfall was, the room was hot the first 2 nights. The maintenance staff was great and tried to get it working, but we had to switch rooms. The management took care of us! Special shout out to Kyle at front desk and Janet at the pool and the maintenance crew!! They were fantastic!

Very clean everybody was friendly the only problem was the walls are paper thin and I could hear everything. Whoever was next to me probably had some kids and I couldn’t sleep they were so loud I could hear the TV then somebody on top of me was banging on the floor
