Bright, cheerful, well appointed. Clean throughout. Annoyingly, a broken elevator made for long lines up & down (and everything is on an upper floor). Overall - relaxing, easy vibe. Good for couples and young families.

Nice resort.. a little dated but still nice. Staff was friendly, loved the beach cabanas, the view from the roof top bar is beautiful. We also loves the proximity to every thing as well as the free shuttle around st Pete beach. Would definitely stay here again: HOWEVER the elevators always smelled bad and musty, the detachable shower head in our shower would not stay put, it just kept falling , could be a “user error”.
If check in starts at 4pm.. please don’t tell me my room isn’t available at 4pm, first resort u charge us for an entire night starting at 4, so the room should be ready at 4. Thankfully though.. they were able to switch our room that wasn’t ready to a room that WAS available and ready at 4 .
St Pete was a beautiful homey beach.. reminded me of the local beach I went to as a kid in NC. Thank u for a wonderful time.. we needed it!

I read a lot of bad reviews about this hotel and maybe hesitant to book it. I’m glad I did it anyway this hotel is right next to all the rest of them that you see when you’re searching to book and St Pete beach I really don’t think it matters too much which one you pick because they’re literally all connected to each other and most have day passes which you can go to. I didn’t find the amenities overwhelming at Bellweather but I did find it Absolutely perfect for vacation for just me and my partner. One thing I would want to know is the cabanas are first come first serve so if you have a family, you have to get up at 8 AM and book one or else you most likely won’t get one

Our family really enjoyed our time here. Staff was amazing and kind. The property was really pretty and nicely located. Things that needed tlc, the king bed was sunk in the middle and so uncomfortable, wish front desk would have mention you need a reservation to eat on roof top, and the outside restaurant is awful. Bongos is horrible. The staff is rude, the don’t talk to you when you walk up and act like your an inconvenience.

Had an AMAZING time at the Bellweather! Hotel had a fun Mid-Century Modern Vibe and I loved the decor.
I loved the fact that we didn’t have to leave the resort - and if we did there was a Free Beach Taxi we could take or. Trolley if you want to go to Clearwater for the day.
The staff was excellent! The Concierge began texting me 4 days before we arrived to help us with any excursions and arrange airport transportation if needed. There was also a bottle of wine waiting for us as we were celebrating our 25th!
Bongos is the on-site restaurant and Tiki Bar - live music between Noon and 10 pm. So much fun and the wait staff is great - super friendly.
This was a couples trip for us but I think this resort is perfect for families too.
Will be back!

It's great for a long week get-away weekend for couples.
It was also kids friendly if you're looking for a family long weekend.
The bar and restaurant on the roof top are really cool.

The property is older but recently upgraded. Very clean. Staff was very helpful, patient and nice. Food was really good at Bongos and the cafe. Beach access was amazing, cabanas are included in resort fee daily but better get in line at beach for one at 745 am or they will be gone. Shopping around the resprt closes between 7 and 9pm. Restaurants between 9 and 10pm. Very family friendly. Becareful of the "free taxis" Its free but they highly encourage tips which is the same price as an Uber or Lyft. Download the Freebie app and the town has truly free rides in these little electric cars. No tips are allowed. During Mon through Fri there are only a couple so wait times are longer for one. Weekends they are plentiful. This is a not over developed area with good prices for food and most activities. Properties are a little older but kept up well. Will definitely be going back.

My room was clean and the beds were huge. I liked the outdoor restaurant and live music. I love the palm trees on the beach. It made it so beautiful. We did a family sunset photoshoot. We loved the pictures. I would definitely stay there again.
