Holiday Inn Resort Panama City Beach, an IHG Hotel

Beautiful room, even better amenities outside. Lazy river, the pools were great! Fun accommodations for kids! We usually stay in a condo, but this was amazing.

This was booked for my spouse and I for me to propose. The first 3 mornings we were woken up to drilling above us as they were doing construction on the elevator. What was meant to be a getaway to relax and propose had us returning home to our children feeling as if we barely slept.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! They insist on making you wear wristbands your entire stay and you aren't allowed to have friends hangout on property unless they're registered on the room. They wouldn't allow me to add names to my room after checking in. The security guard at 2am told my female guest she couldn't sit in the lobby with me while she waited for an uber because she wasn't on the room. The bathroom ceiling and initial hallway ceiling entering the rooms are low so i couldn't stand up in either. The bathroom and AC remind me of motel. How can a hotel be ranked 3 stars and not have central ac? Elevators run extremely slow. I would give zero stars if I could. They also changed my friend's room to a king without asking when he had his wife and children with him then tried to charge him an additional cost to switch it back to the room they originally paid for. The front desk staff are incompetent. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. Save your money.

Amazing. Perfect for family.

Our 2024 summer vacation was excellent, the hotel is excellent for the family, they always have a happy atmosphere, the drinks, the food, a very accessible store with everything you need inside the hotel, close to many restaurants and activities for adults and children, We loved that the pool closes at 12 am so you can go at any time, everything was wonderful, we will definitely return

Overall a very great time! The room was very clean and the view from the balcony was great. You literally never have to leave the resort. We basically lived in our swimwear the entire trip. The beach is right there along with all the pools. We loved the lazy river only wished it stayed open longer. The kids loved the splash pad. Our only complaints are the game room pool table’s condition is not very good. It had rips all along the top felt. Also on the last night we couldn’t play because the pool sticks were gone. Another negative was the lazy river closed at 8 while everything else closes at midnight because well we love the lazy river. Way more pros than cons that’s for sure. We can’t wait to go back!

This was our family trip and I must say our family had a blast!!! The kids enjoyed themselves so much at this resort. We love how family friendly the resort was with all the different amenities and activities. The only thing that was a big concern was how hot the elevators were and on the second day of our stay we had to call for maintenance for room 703. The AC was not properly working. Besides the minor hiccup we enjoyed EVERYTHING!!!! 9.5 out of 10!!!!!! Our family wlll be returning!

WE have been in this Hotel/Resort many times along the years, previous to this one was 2018, so we have a baseline to get an idea on how good it is now respect over the past. It is nice that they have renovated the rooms and general areas, like cafeteria/restaurant, but places like the kids splash park is realy poorly mantained, there are sections of the ploor that are missing in the pool, the atractions many of them with a incredible amount of mold. The big pool was fixed but poorly executed cement sections on the edge of the pool looks nasty, the cascade also has a lot of visible mold. The screen where they project movies for the kiddos you can barely watch something, the image was very dark and completetely out of focus, so I guess a new projector is needed, regarding the movies in previous years you can listen the movie over all the speakers, now that is not possible, so casically you can hear the movie unless you are in front of the screen. Then pricese wise they have done a big bump on the prices, from less than $200 per night that we paid early in the 2010's to $600+ is a 200% at this point is not worth it, even with the addition of the lazy (and boring) river. It is less expensive and way more fun some resort in the Maya Riviera than this option, in our case we took because it was a last minute decision so no many options. Then the personnel as always really good with some exception, but 99% perfect. So basically is an expensive option for what they offer.

Our first time to PCB will definitely not be our last. We loved the stay. Professional and friendly staff, plenty of food and beverage options, lots for kids to do, spacious and clean and family friendly! We loved that it was right on the beach! Such a great time, we will definitely be back!

Good entertainment. Food cost outside was somewhat high in my opinion. $20 for a wrap. Most ended up coming in with their own groceries, which we clued in on. Our room was decent but the shower easily ran over into the floor. Pool was nice. There were some safety concerns with kids climbing in the splash park. No parents supervising. Beach was enjoyable. Overall friendly staff and visitors. Dryers would be nice even if not in the room for swimming attire. Elevators could be a bit hectic at times.
