Opal Grand Oceanfront Resort & Spa

Loved this property for my young family.

The oceanfront property was a real pleasure! Area is very clean and peaceful as well as family friendly. We really enjoyed our stay!

Michael at check in went above and beyond for us in many aspects. We were down there to help our son with a difficult situation and Michael treated us like family. Thank you again Michael!

There is an issue when booking with Expedia. If room is listed as “Standard”it has no view. We booked a “Standard 2 queen beds w/ pool view” and the hotel doesn’t recognize that. If it says standard, there is no view. The hotel is beautiful and the ambiance is wonderful with live music by the pool, excellent restaurant, amenities and service. Nice private beach across the street. The hotel is undergoing some renovations and one elevator was not working. We Love the Opal family of hotels, they are always well maintained and clean.

Expected more for the price point. Property was fine, they'd made recent-ish low-budget updates. Food, pool side and in-room, was low quality. What was really disappointing is the hotel cancelled my parent's reservation without notifying them and then required them to pay an exorbitant last minute rate to stay in a dump of a room. Providing more details below before the property responds by saying it was not their responsibility - a common response with the Opal staff. The property leaves a lot to be desired especially when it comes to client satisfaction. *** The desk agent gave my parents my room upon checkin - clearly not checking names. When I checked in, they told me I didn't have a reservation. As we dug in they blamed my mom for cancelling her reservation yet, as I asked more questions we found that Opal had cancelled the reservation as they didn't receive payment when they attempted to run my mom's old credit card number. They claimed, despite having texted her a number of times, they called an 800 number and cancelled the reso when they couldn't get to her. Since we were down there for a family vacation and had a number of rooms rented we weren't going to send my parents elsewhere so we took the last room they had and despite the stench, price or trouble they put us through, the property took no responsibility and did NOTHING to accommodate. It was a terrible experience for a lackluster property, take your money elsewhere.

Excellent family friendly and safe resort. The food options were plentiful and delicious. The staff were friendly and very helpful! We do not usually go back to resorts as we’ve been there done that, however, we will be back to the Opal Resort and Spa again.

Had a great experience we were a family of 4 with 2 kids and we all enjoyed ourselves. Wasn’t over crowded, always found a spot at the pool the staff is amazing and very friendly.

We had a family stay, and we all share the same opinion about the hotel cleanliness, staff friendly, great location across the beach. The hotel lobby is great and the suite we got Gad a great view of the beach. Will go back every time I visit Delray Beach

I loved everything about the property. Beautifully designed lobby. Clean and spacious room. Free WI-FI. Chromecast streaming on the TV. Great pools (one for kids, one for adults.) Generously sized fitness center. Healthy food options at the coffee shop. Friendly and helpful staff. Location simply can't be beat.

The service I received from Harris and Natalie was on a different level all I have to say is wow. It was amazing. The pool service from Sydney was also amazing. The one really bad thing I have to share about that hotel. There was a older white lady that worked for the hotel at one of the front desk close spinning doors she has NO manners what so ever and she doesn’t know how to talk to people at especially people of color. But my family and I plan to stay there again.
