Came with my husband for a weekend getaway without our kids. Love the vibe here. It’s quiet and relaxing. I would come again.

Will never stay at this hotel again. The noise was incredible! Barking dogs,babies crying, people talking loudly;stomping footsteps in room above me at 2:00 am, the walls and floors sounded like they were made of cardboard. The worst was extremely loud music until 12:00am on Saturday. You could hear everything going on in the hotel while in your room. Also, as I was staying alone, I felt very uncomfortable parking in the lot behind the hotel, due to very limited lighting when coming back to the hotel in the late evening.

The Colony Hotel is a beautiful, historic, truly local site. It encourages a natural, laid back, old Florida energy no franchise could duplicate. As a local, it has been heartbreaking to see much of what was best & true here destroyed by developers. The Colony proved a very special gem, recommended by another local. I enjoyed the open veranda day & night, catching up with friends & family. The renovated beach club is lovely, peaceful, and quietly lush. Lunch is ridiculously expensive at the beach cabana café, but it is easy to get lulled into just staying all day and appreciating it.
