SLS Brickell

In previous visits, my family and I have never encountered issues at this hotel until recently. Our recent stay at the Dua Brickell hotel left us profoundly disappointed, marking one of our worst experiences. We have never encountered anything like this before and are still recovering from our stay. Upon informing the front desk of bed bugs that disturbed our sleep and presenting evidence of bites on our necks and bodies, the management team took no action beyond stating they would inspect the room with a team. Upon our return, they informed us they found no issues and insinuated that we may have caused the problem ourselves. No compensation or resolution was offered for our inconvenience. I would caution against staying at this hotel if you wish to avoid similar issues and poor service.

Booked a room at the SLS after another spot I had originally booked in the area went horribly wrong back in September (I know, I’m delayed writing this!). The staff here took SUCH good care of me. I can’t say enough about the front desk!! Always checked in on me and even fixed my room keys when I accidentally deactivated them ; ) the hotel driver, door man, lounge team, bartenders… everyone was fantastic and truly made my stay. Will be returning as a guest (or just to stop by to say hello) and would recommend to all friends/family. So appreciative of this team more than they know! Room, hotel, and gym were all super clean too! Thank you times a million! Saved my time in Miami for sure!

Honestly, our expectations were pretty high based on the pictures and reviews we saw. But when we got to our apartment, the pillows were a mess – seriously stained and just filthy. Despite having daily cleaning services, they never bothered to replace them, even after we asked. And it wasn't just the pillows; the towels at the swimming pool were dirty too. As for entertainment around the hotel, it was a bit of a joke. We wanted to play pool, but the staff couldn't find the billiard balls. They came up with some ridiculous excuse, saying they needed to get an engineer to locate them. I mean, what kind of engineer is needed to find pool balls? Additionally, when we arrived at the hotel, which was earlier than our check-in time, one of the staff told us we could use the amenities and even grab breakfast while waiting for our room. This confused us since our hotel package included breakfasts. She initially said our breakfast was covered, but then they charged us for the first day's breakfast, saying it actually wasn't included. I would not recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

This hotel was a 10/10 for me. The check in time was 3 pm but we arrived earlier and were accommodated for an earlier check in as well is a room upgrade. There were events taken place in the hotel during our stay which was nice. The room was super clean and luxurious with a mirror over the bed and the LED mirrors on the wall plus balcony. I advised I was celebrating a birthday and they were kind enough to send up personalized balloons which was super sweet, a cupcake and a note! The only thing lacking were extra bathroom essentials like qtips and a hair net for the shower. We had Filia restaurant in the hotel multiple times including room service and it was amazing every time. Pizza and small snacks were fabulous. Only negative here is you will always no matter what pay a service charge for anything any where you go. I guess this ensures a more quality service which is ok. They also provided a cake for the birthday during dinner service and it was amazing. Overnight parking is $60 a night but there are multiple more affordable lots such as one down the block from parking garages next to Publix and this was $20 a night and one near the Arch which was $30 per night. The bedding and robes were so comfy I slept like a baby! Upon check out we had a late flight and we were able to use the pool all day. The pool beds were included. We stopped at the pool party in South beach and didn’t find it worth it nor was their pool and the beach was super hot that day but the beach chairs and

I wanted to really really like this property because the staff was amazing. However, when I got their the toilet in my room wouldn’t flush. They sent someone up right away to fix but it still was working weird the rest of the stay. It was really noisy with the music from the restaurant below (maybe it was just the side my room was on). I booked a room with a king size bed, however that’s not what we received. They put a hold on my account for an extra $800 “just in case”…the billing was really weird because they took $400 out my account before I arrived then when I got their a hold for $1600. (Our total when booked was $1100) out of that maybe about $400 was returned when we checked out which didn’t make sense. Also the day we checked out I almost passed out I seen 2 baby roaches in our room. It’s a great location in brickell with great nearby food options, but won’t stay again.
