Homewood Suites by Hilton Miami Downtown/Brickell

Perfect spot for our family to stay before getting on our cruise. The facility was very clean which to me is #1

Convenient location, close enough to the airport and less than 1.5 miles away from Brickell’s City Centre. Accommodations were comfortable, mini kitchen, clean sheets, hot water, etc. There is a small pool… great for young children otherwise it’s a soaking area for adults (3.6 ft at the deep end with jets) - however there were never any pool towels there so you may have to multipurpose the ones from your room. The Continental breakfast was OK… Most the time everything was picked over and barely refilled by 830am… go early otherwise you are left with either cereal or toast. Several great restaurants less than two miles away. This is also an easy spot to pick up an Uber and head anywhere in town. There is also a beautiful playground less than a block up the street with food trucks open till 5 AM and walking paths along the way.

our family and two small kids enjoyed staying Homewood Suites, check in was very smooth, thanks to Frances we were very lucky to meet Frances, she is a courteous , helpful and a kind young lady at the front desk, but we were disappointed this two morning of breakfast, two girls works in the cafeteria were not helpful at all, oats and coffee was not hot, the toaster oven did not work , everyone was waiting to toast their breads, kept throwing bagels / breads into toaster back and forth for a long time, still did not toast a bit, wasting so much time, this is the reason i did not gave 5 rating. Our room is very nice, we were thrilled to see our room is specious. We appreciate so much for early check in and also late check out.

New kid park across the hotel! Easy access around by Uber

My family and I had a wonderful stay. We are a family of 5 and had plenty of space in our room. The kids enjoyed the pool, which is small but served it purpose well. Nice lounge area. The breakfast was probably the best free hotel breakfast we have had. I brought toiletries but they werent needed because they had very nice shampoo and body wash, hair dryer, etc. already in the room. And they were full size, not travel size. The location is great. There is a walking path that goes right in front of the hotel you can follow right into downtown and get on the public transit tram not having to dodge much traffic. But it is a short to moderate walk. The entrance to the hotel was alittle strange. You enter through the parking garage. But there isnt any inconvenience in it. It easy to get in/out the hotel easily, just different. Overall would stay here again 100%.

On arrival to the hotel, the entrance was rather strange. The main entrance was through the ground level where parking was. Secondly, when we got to the room and I checked the closet, there was a lump of hair on the floor so I felt the room was unclean. Furthermore, the furniture was very filthy and I felt uncomfortable sitting on it and having my children sit on it as well. The sad part is that we stayed for 5 nights and had room service, and still that lump of hair remained until our stay ended. Apart, from that, staff seems pleasant and breakfast was satisfying. The room was quite big too.

Easy to walk to restaurants but they are expensive for a family of 4 Excellent staff, friendly and helpful. Large clean room. I would stay here again.

Spacious, comfortable and with everything you need for a family vacation. I would suggest to equip better the room with at least one pan and more than one dishwasher soap pod and soap for the bathroom sink to have all the essentials.
